Fresh Ravioli; Stale Buns
We ordered for pick up. My wife loved the mushroom ravioli (the ravioli of the day). However, I was underwhelmed by the salmon burger and the fries. While the salmon patty was fine, the biscuit bun for the burger tasted old (a bit on the stale side).

One of the best places to eat in Brooklyn
Chez Lola is beautifully decorated, has excellent customer service and phenomenal food. The presentation of the food is a work of art, and the actual art in the place is unbelievable. I've had their Cobb salads and Salmon entrees for dinner and will definitely be back to try more. The diverse crowd and music makes folks feel comfortable, and the lighting relaxes even the most stressed person. :-)

Excellent atmosphere and value
i always enjoy the food here - to the $12 for all you can eat mussels with fries on thursdays - to the salmon burger - to the excellent carpaccio and arugula salad appetizers... it's a good restaurant with incredible value. the one drawback is the inconsistent service - i've had both snooty and attentive waitresses. it'd be nice to have a better balance - this would warrant them a higher rating. a nice neighborhood choice :]

If Looks Could Kill
This has to be the most beautiful restaurant I have ever been to. We have only been in Brooklyn for a few months but I can't imagine any place topping the interiors of this place. Everything is just done to perfection. However, the food took a very long time to come to our table, though when it did it was delicious. The mussels and tagine were so nice. Our waitress was nice enough but talked ENTIRELY too much to us. She wouldn't walk away from the table even after we stopped responding to her. I'll go back again, just after I make sure she isn't there!

Steady and Reliable Delivery Service
I ate at Lola about 10 times since they opened. I order delivery from them much more often, bc they always answer their phone, take order pretty fast and food always comes within 35 minutes-- I never ever had to call back to check on an order like I do with many other places in the hood. At this stage I do know that some of their dishes are much better for eating it there than taking it to To Go or for delivery. Some of their dishes loose their presentation or sometimes flavour (dressing on side) bc of the packing. I had their boston lettuce salad, which I thought was fantastic when ate there (same thing with the empenada); its somehow not the same when you take it to go... Burgers, salmon, paella, steaks (but not with fries), pasta, cobb salad, tagine are all fantastic to take out. I do like Lola a lot, it never disappointed me and they are always quick to fix possible problems to keep me happy and coming back. Thank you for your hard work, it doesn't go un noticed.

Not worth it :(
I've been there a couple of times, and the food quality has been below average. The servers were very nice, when they actually served you. I am not going there anymore.

Could've done much better
I like an upscale burger, so tonight when I ordered from Chez Lola, I was excited for dinner. I ordered my burger medium well, and it came well done. Not the worst thing ever. The delivery person pretended he couldn't get the door open to make me have to come down. I reduced my tip, obviously, and then he insisted I give him the receipt. I am the one making the purchase, don't I get the receipt? All that wouldn't have caused me to write a review. What did that was the Boston Bib Salad. For $7, I got a box of Boston lettuce and a handful of straight-out-of-the-bag cashews. They weren't roasted; nothing. There was nothing else in the salad except the lettuce and cashews (there were maybe 12 of those) and a small side of vinaigrette. The incredible rip-off for this salad will probably cause me to not go here again. The obnoxious delivery person guarantees it.
