Good service, rubbish food.
We ate here prior to going to a movie. The food was 'warm' and was lacking in taste. The chicken chimichanga was severely lacking in 'chicken', was smothered in a nacho sauce which had a 'skin' on it - to me it looked like it had been out a while. The chicken burrito was smothered in some tasteless sauce rendering it inedible. The rice on both plates was tasteless and warm at best. We have eaten in a few of the chains in times square and only have good things to say about them - Hard Rock, Planet Hollywood, Bubba Gumps etc. We know its a chain but this was just atrocious, the only good point being that the service was good. 2 mains and 2 drinks including a tip came to $50. My suggestion would be to go elsewhere!

Inviting and Relaxed
Came here as soon as we arrived! It looked busy so thought that would be a good indicator of good food!...RIGHT! lovely staff and a nice relaxing atmosphere with TV's, wide menu selection, loads of free chips and salsa. Great location near Times Square....take a visit!

Avoid This Chevys!
We live in the area and decided to go here for lunch. The food was awful and the meal was $63 with tip No drinks and No dessert! We sent back the tortilla's because they were dried out and the manager told us some people prefer them like that. The rice and beans with the fajita's were stone cold. Save your money and find another place to eat!

great!
I live around the corner and order out from Chevy's a few times a month and LOVE it! Their sala is soooo good, but the best thing on the menu are the enchilladas!!!! You can't beat the frozen magarittas.......especially the pinapple/coconut margaritta!

Good for the food, nothing else
The food was good, although not spectacular as the prices would indicate otherwise. The quesadillas were better than your average college cafeteria cook's, but then that's not really saying a whole lot considering the price. The drinks did seem to be a little watered down and overall, just did not quite meet expectations, being that it is in such a central location.

Most fun I've had in years!
After lots of shopping and sightseeing, we visited your wonderful restaurant across from the World Financial Center. The food was delectible, and the waitress was warm, friendly and full of fun! She made our visit so enjoyable, we told all our friends about Chevy's in NYC!

Surprisingly good food
This is much better than Fridays or chains like that, I eat a lot of tex-mex and some of the food here is actually really good. It's true that the frozen margaritas are over-priced and come out of a machine, they should be 5 bucks instead of 10. We loved the quesadillas with pineapple, and the chimichangas. Service is a little hit or miss.
