On the decline
I have been going to this place regularly since it opened. I used to love it and swear by it. Sadly, since the word has gotten out, things have been going downhill. It is always super crowded and loud. Once my friend and I waited an HOUR for our sushi, and after that the waitress never came back to see if we wanted anything, not even water. You have to shout to be heard. But the worst is that the size of the rolls has really gone down. The pieces of fish in the rolls is less than half the size it used to be, so you end up ordering twice as much. So it's not such a bargain anymore. That said, the quality of the sushi is still superb and I'd recommend checking it out if you are walking past and see it's not packed.

Yum!
I have been disappointed so many times by sushi in the city, but this place is great. They don't have a lot of crazy complicated rolls, but my favorite thing is simple, fresh sushi made with delicious fish. It's a great little place with nice decor where you can BYOB and save money while getting a great sushi meal. Thanks Cherin Sushi!

The fish is the freshest I've had and the dine-in specials are unbelievable.

Fantastic Fish!
The best sushi in the east village hands down. The freshest fish even on Sundays. Excellent service. Perfect place to woo that special someone. Look BIG WILLIE whilst spending under $30 for two. Just get there before 8 and don't be late.

Best in the city
The best sushi in the city with a nowhere to be found value. Any 4 rolls for 12 bucks or any 3 rolls for ten bucks or if ur a sushi or sashimi lover then they have any 6pcs with any 1 roll for ten bucks or any 9 pcs of sushi with any 1 roll for only 12 bucks.. I would say its basically all u can eat for 12 bucks.$36 total will feed three people to death!!

Super early bird special
I have been getting my sushi delivered from this place for almost 3 months & doing a few take outs & it has always been great. They have been late a couple of times but they are always polite & apologetic at times of delays. I was passing by last sunday & just decided to dine in this time. & oh...you are not gonna believe it..!! The rolls that i used to order for delivery were almost like 50% off as i happened to be there around 7 the waiter told me they had a early bird special of 3 rolls for $9.95..I had all my favourite william roll, gillian roll & avocado lover & paid only thirteen bucks tips included for my entire meal while i used to pay around 18 to 20 bucks everytime i ordered for delivery..the manager told me the early bird special was only for "dine in customers " only ..so get your lazy ass out & try to get there before 8...
