6:00 on Sunday, not noisy, food and service great. A mature crowd at that time. Can't wait to go back.

Had dinner here a month ago and it was delightful. The service was outstanding, very friendly and helpful. We had the beet salad -- different and delicious. steak and fries followed. The steak was just okay but the herb butter with it was wonderful and the fries were terrific. Dessert was very good. It is busy, but a lot of fun. I would go back.

We wanted to try it, and expected it to be as good as Pastis and/or Balthazar. It is neither, and more in the category of Paulino, the former restaurant in the same spot, which was also a McNally creation, and was a bust. Place is attractive and bright and waitress was attentive and pleasant. Food was ok, nothing exceptional, and portion size is tiny, while prices are big. Nothing was exceptional enough to even recommend anything among the choices for three at lunch.

Looking for a place to lunch after visiting The New Museum. Interested in excellent food and wonderful service this is the go to place. Three of us ordered and shared 3 dishes. We informed our capable waitress that we were going to share and requested that the dishes be served sequentially. It was no problem... after the unusual beet salad we were served The Croque Monsieur. Then came the heavenly mussels. Each course was served with 3 dishes and sharing was simple. The noise level was low & there was enough room between tables for privacy. Next time I'm in the area I won't hesitate to return.

We were advised by friends that this was by the same people who owned Balthazar one of our favorite restaurants. 1) extremely noisy.. 2) A much more limited menu. 3) the food was not good; my steak tartar (A favorite at Balthazar) seem to be filled with mayonnaise and just subpar. The waiter told us that the muscles was small but very sweet this was an exaggeration in that they were just a bit bigger than a pea; french fries were soggy. I understand it is very difficult to get a reservation so you may be one of the lucky ones in not having got the reservation. MoveOn.
