Not recommended
New to the area so tried delivery. The chicken was made up of some sort of chicken goo. The broccoli was yellowish and soggy. It was inedible & I didn't even get a fortune cookie. ..Sure it wouldn't have been promising anyway coming from this joint.

Great Chinese Delivery -- best chicken wings!
No frills Chinese delivery. Food is really good, delivered fast. Have to say it's even better than the fancier chinese places. Deep fried chicken wings yummy!

Good delivery
Just ordered some hot and sour soup and walnut shrimp for delivery - was pretty good.Pretty big portions!

Best Chinese In Midtown Vacinity
My company is located in midtown, where these is NOTHING but tourists and expensive restaurants/take out. I rarely step out of my office to find a place to grub, so when I'm looking for a quick delivery and great chinese food - I always call Chen's. I come from great knowledge of chinese food (my parent's own a restaurant in another state) so when I finally Chen's, I refuse to order from the others. It reminds me of home and the value is great (for NY standards). The other places in my delivery zone (31st & 6th), definitely do not compare. Take advantage of the Lunch Menu, so you can try out the variety of dishes.

My Search has ended!
As usual, I received yet another take out menu slipped strategically through the door. And as usual, I was just about to toss it when Eureka! And to my great surprise, I found that Chen's offered Cheese Rangoon (they call them Cheese Wonton). Well I was elated. I haven't been able to find these delicious yummies anywhere in Chelsea. When I received my order (Szechuan Chicken Combo and of course the "Cheese Rangoon"), I found that they are just as tasty without being greasy or over-fried as most fried wonton tends to be. The Szechuan Chicken was pretty tasty and was fresh. I'm just so happy to find my favorite appetizer locally, without having to go all the way to Chinatown or Boston to partake. Thanks Chen's. You are now my primary Chinese takeout/delivery.

Good value - Good Food
We haven't had very good luck with chinese delivery since we moved here from DC six months ago. Chen's food was the first time we had a decent spring roll along with main dishes that weren't too thick with sauce. We will definitely order from there again.

Not recommended
I disagree with the reviewers below. The food here is extremely below average for a Chinese take-out joint. Also, for a place with "express" in the name, it took forever to make my order. On top of it all, the dish i ordered was not good. When you make rip tips, you don't simply cleave off the end of a rib and deep fry. You're not supposed to eat bone and gristle.
