Best lunch deal in the 'hood.
$6.95 for a lunch buffet that is healthy, authentic, and delicious. Need I say more?

Satisfied Frequent Customer
My wife and I take out from Chennai frequently, and occasionally eat there, and we're generally very happy with the food, the service, the value, and the atmosphere.

a happy camper
just new in the neighborhood. i was craving for south indian food since it is easy to find regular indian restaurant i wasn't sure to find a veg. south indian restaurant in the neighbourhood. got to know about this place from your site i loved my experience at this place. food is as good as it could be. service was good and staff is friendly. i'm a regular customer now.

90 minute delivery time
Their food is pretty good but their delivery is subpar. First time they left out Mango Lassi and refused to redeliver it. This time around the delivery took more than 90 minutes and no apologies from them. If you go there and eat it may be worth it, but why risk with delivery.

south indian and no parotta bread
I was happy to see another UES Indian restaurant (particularily south indian), but this does not make the grade. Since I had delivery I can't comment on service or atmosphere but the food was very, very bland, yuk. Breads are a shame, how on earth can you represent as a south indian restaurant and not have the most fabulous bread, parotta? I'm going to India in March and can't wait!!

Delicious, Healthy Lunch Buffet
The lunch buffet is wonderful variety of low fat vegetable dishes, some hearty and some light, salad and sauces, rice and grilled bread, and perfectly ripe fruit. The spice is just right. I liked that the dairy and fresh hot peppers are all on the side. I am not a vegetarian and felt nothing missing. You can eat as much as you like and still feel great. The service is attentive. And at all you can eat for $6.95, what more could you ask for?

Absolutely Wonderful Service!
I was thrilled when I found Chennai because now, I don't have to leave the UES to get great dosa! The food is fabulous (yummy curries and uttapums too) and the service is extremely attentive. It's a small place, but I've always been able to get a table, even on a Friday night.
