My conception of what Indian food is was changed by their $6.95 lunch buffet. The flavors were just outstandingly fresh. I didn't for a second miss the meat offerings of other lesser Indian restaurants, especially given the dull spices and muted flavorings that is apparently common currency at most other places. Shame on you Curry Leaf, Vatan, Baluchi's, Banjara I dare say that this is the lunch by which all future lunches shall be measured, and Chennai Garden is likely to become a several times-weekly destination of deliciousness for me.

My girlfriend and I went there about 2 months ago and we both loved it! We both wound-up eating much more than we planned and we're going back again tonight! You have to try the palak paneer, really good ice cream and one of the best cups of chai I ever had! If you havent checked this place out yet, you must!

I have been here twice. The first time, the food was very average - nothing special! However, when I went back a couple of weeks ago, the food was FABULOUS. I truly enjoyed it! Am going back tonight...hopefully the trend will continue :)

I have been to the restaurant 3 times and so far have loved everything that was ordered. This restaurant has a wide variety of choice and quality of food is excellent.

Chennai Garden has such a huge menu, and every single item is delicious. I've been here many times; every time I and my date get something new (and share them), every time it's great. Some of the absolute best Indian in the city.

This is where to come if you're Indian and want the real thing, rather than the watered-down crap you get at that Saravanaas place. It's unfortunate that the location on a side street makes it less frequented, but on the other hand it means you will get a table and some privacy.
