It is what it is
Unfortunately for CSR, many of the reviews here are right on. The service is generally rude, (the lady who picks up the phone really needs to be more polite) and the prices are too high but the food is not terrible. It's not great either: burgers are often cooked at what seems like a haphazard heat, despite specific requests for medium rare. Better than the diner across the street tho!

need to update there price, bad service
service is terrible, food is average and not worth the price. it seems like eerytime i order from this place they raise the prices up. the peple who take phone orders are rude and can barely understand you. got a cheese burger deluxe for 9.50, could a got a burger that was x10 better at corner bistro for 9.00 and bacon

satisfied every time
well.... its not very often that i will actually take the time to sit down and write a review. but this place deserves it. the food is great and the service is always what i want it to be. sure, the prices are a little high but dont forget we are in NYC. my only hang up is that the one of the night time staff members is not as warm as the rest of the staff but then again.... theres one in every crowd. overall, i couldnt be happier. thanx again chelsea square : )

I guess they read the reviews
The dinner had bad delivery boys no extra change or not speaking english BUT it has changed the delivery is fast the person who takes the order is short but good all i can say is since the beginning of 2007 a new dinner it seems

Best diner in years
I eat here every day. I have lived in the hood for over a year now and eat @ this diner about 3 days a week sometimes twice a day. It is my favorite and thats it. Egg sandwhiches are amazing. I personally have not had any issues with delivery. Always prompt and pleasant. Service there is outstanding.. you WILL enjoy ; )

service is very very iffy ....
this was the diner that everyone in the house ordered from until they started getting sluggish. they do not take orders over the fone well, there delivery guys dont complete the delivery. its suppose to go to your door not the front of the building. really annoying. so i dont order or eat from here anymore but the food is good. chicken tenders and black and white shake are good.
