Great food, nice decoration, zero atmosphere

I'm mid-meal writing this review, but felt so compelled by my opinion (and bored by the lack of atmosphere) that I had to do something. Food has been excellent, cocktails are tasty and generous, but man, you couldn't destroy the atmosphere more if you tried. Why spend the $$ for nice touches like damask wallpaper if you're going to cover it up with flatscreen tvs? There are seven on the dining room... Which along with the soft club music ensures they'll never manage to have an inviting/cosy/romantic atmosphere... Eating dinner here, I feel like I'm in a nightclub during daylight hours... Which may be the case... Perhaps they make their money on late night fistpumpers that wish they were in Miami....

    Pleasant Evening

This is a lovely venue that manages to present a sophisticated experience without pretention. My husband & I went on a Friday night to relax and catch the Yankees/Mets game. There were some technical difficulties with the airing of the game, but the staff was so accommodating that we stayed for dinner, even though we could have viewed the game for free down the street at Madison Square Park. Admittedly, two out of three of the dishes we ordered were delivered incorrectly, but the aps were tasty, and the sliders were great (particularly the boar and the eggplant)! We stayed longer than we expected and drank a lot of beer that night, mostly because the environment was so comfortable and the staff was so friendly. I look forward to going back.

    Good friend, romantic dinner!

Low lighting, candle lit dinner for 2. I took my boyfriend here for Valentine's day and we had a great time. We were greeted by the door host, who offered up a rose for me and a glass of champagne for us to start our night. The food was tasty, I ordered the Salmon. The ultimate favorite were the cocktails. Overall, was a v-day planned on a whim and turned out to be just perfect. I felt like I was in Miami with the cool blue/brown wallpaper and white couches. Definitely recommend checking this place out...we're going with friends this week for drinks and to check out the nightlife scene on a Saturday late night.
