My roommate took me out to Chelsea Grill last night just for a bite since we were both hungry and in the area. She mentioned that it was cute and she had a "good" salad. Good? It was amazing. We landed a seat right in the front beside the open front of the restaurant. Given that it was an amazing night with great weather and we were there a little early (around 8:00) we had a great atmosphere. As for the food... We split an artichoke and pita dip that was okay but with a little added salt and pepper from the table was gone in an instant. I had the special of the evening two blu pork chops with asparagus and potatoes au gratin. For $18 the portion was amazing. If you ever stop through and they have this special... you have to have it! My roommate had the sirloin salad cooked Medium rare... it was beautiful. So Delicious. We skipped on dessert, but had some great coffee. Overall... for value, location, and quality... I'm not sure this place can be beat. To the gentleman who said his well done burger was "overly dry"... what do you expect. If your cooking your meat that long... your asking for it. Chelsea Grill knows what they're doing... and they do it very very well

I came here with a few of my friends after work and had the best time...we enjoyed the calamari as our app and we all had different items on the menu for dinner and it all came out perfect!!...after dinner we decided to hang out for a few more drinks at the bar...can't wait to go back...

I had dinner there at the bar and did not like it. I had fried calamari as an app and salmon for dinner. So when my app came out they wanted to know if I would like to have my salmon at the same time. I was eating by myself...And they cooked everything at the same time. Calamari was too rubbery and when I finally got my salmon it was all dried out and extra well done even though I ordered it MR.. They just told me that bc the other bar tender messed up and it was ready they had to keep it in the oven to make sure it was warm! How about cooking a new one? and in the mean time servers were drinking with the customers and a manager offerd money for a foot rub. I do not recommend it at all. If you want to have a chill night at the bar go somwhere else.

This is a really good restaurant with old New York decor, in sparkling downtown Hell's Kitchen (Clinton). The Bar is solid and so is the Remy as well as the Coppola 'Diamond" red from California. I had the Blue Cheese Steak Salad while my friend , Mike, had the papardelles. Dessert was a scrumptious Bailey's irish Cream Cheesecake to die for, while Mike had the creme brulee. The Waitstaff and the barstaff are 1st rate.

As you can see we absolutely loved the food here. we were only in new york 4 days and this was, without a doubt the best meal we had on the whole trip.....and thats saying something because the food in new york is amazing. The place was really busy, yet we were given first class treatment. we arrived late about 10.00 pm and many people came in after us. Would definitely go back if the chance ever comes again.
