Fast Deliver, Good Food
Very impressed with how fast the food came. Everything was the right temperature and fresh. Midtown West is a tough place to find Vietnamese food so I'm happy to know this place is an option. My girlfriend really liked the vegetarian pho as well.

Midtown go-to delivery spot
My fiance cum now husband has the misfortune of living in midtown, where there aren't too many great delivery or restaurant options. My healthy preferences when eating casually at home include lots of vegetables and steamed/grilled chicken. I was feeling adventurous and gave Viet Grill a shot. We ordered the "healthy plate" where you choose 4 vegetables and a sauce on the side, the grilled chicken bun and the chicken salad. The portions were enormous but because we have hearty appetites, it only lasted about 3 meals for the 2 of us. I highly recommend the healthy plate if you like healthy steamed vegetables. Yes, this isn't "authentic vietnamese food" but then again, this is NYC not Westminster, Los Angeles or even Hanoi, Vietnam. Anyways, I was so pleasantly surprised by the food from viet grill I am writing my first menupages review. Furthermore, I am waiting for my delivery from Viet Grill at this very moment!

Efficient food
This is probably one of those "joint ventures," ie, some enterprising Chinese opened up a vietnamese "counter" in the back of the shop. Don't be surprised if the delivery boy is from Beijing. The food is aiight. It's not the freshest tasting, but it's professionally packaged, if you will. Efficiency is what comes to mind. You want large portions delivered fast for not too much money, call the Cottage. But the dishes won't take you to the moon. But again, tond of food in them dishes.

Good neighborhood staple
Last time we had the summer shrimp rolls. They were large and tight - quite nice. Lemongrass chicken skewers weren't too bad either. This time we had the crisp vege spring rolls - presented with lettuce wraps and mint leaves. Pretty good. Also had chicken & spring roll bun (noodle) and chicken salad. Both pretty good too. Food was in large serves, cheap, turned up quickly and was still hot. This won't blow your socks off but it's a really good neighborhood staple. I used to live in a large Vietnamese community and although this isn't exactly what I'm used to it's definitely ok.

Don't waste your time
Am a fan of vietnamese food - Viet Grill managed to get everything wrong and left me with an awful delivery experience which I hope never to repeat. To start, the guy hung up on me before I had a chance to ask a question about the menu. The food arrived hot (one very minor redeeming quality I suppose), however I ordered the chicken banh hoi - the meat I received neither looked nor tasted like chicken. It was bland, dry and I ended up throwing it out after a few bites. Approach with caution - in fact, don't waste your time and money on this utter disappointment.

whatchu talking about willis
i dont know what the person below me is saying.. udon noodles with pho is completely outrageous and absurd. If you live on the west side and are in need of a pho fix viet grill isnt bad. The Pho Tai's meat can range from saddle leather to kmart jerky depending on the order...seriously...it is slightly overpriced for the quality but their quick delivery makes up for it. The best dish at Vietgrill for the price and size would be the Bun Dishes. i prefer the pork chop or the spring roll Bun.
