Used to come here for their roast pork fried rice which was excellent - but since they seemed to think it was amusing that I usually ordered the same thing, I now go elsewhere!

We ate there a couple of years ago and it was OK. This time service was slow and the food mediocre. Spring Rolls were bland and we had to ask for the peanut sauce, chop sticks, hot sauce and they still had to be asked a second time. The Pho broth was Ok and the beef was a good portion. Took a long time to get our food.

I went here for lunch today, ordered the General Tso's Bean Curd. One of the most disappointing meals I've had in a long time. The tofu was served in a goopy brown sauce of the kind that I don't think I've seen since 1965, with no spice and bad-tasting vegetables. Ruined my day!

I'd been looking for a new good Chinese place. Mamma Bhudda is gone and Sammy's has gone so downhill. This is it! I got delivery and it was not too long. Food was a lot less greasy than Sammy's and tasted good. Can't wait for the craving to come back! * Had to write a review because I know there are other Chelsea's out there feeling the same.

We had ordered from Chelsea Cottage before, but today the food was absolutely unappetizing. Actually, the spring rolls were inedible, the soup actually had no taste and the Basil Chicken, well, you know. Can't say it was the most disappointing food I've ever eaten, because it is still sitting on our counter. I just can't believe this restaurant has such a rating. Folks, it is hard to ruin spring rolls and wonton soup...

The service is by far the best for what I've experienced. Very family friendly atmosphere. They have great food too! It's inexpensive and tastes awesome. Their dimsum and grilled chicken pho is the best I've ever eaten.

Ninety percent of the time the food is GREAT. Here and there I will get a plate that is so-so. Everything is way overpriced! As for the restaurant, I simply stay away! I have been there a few times, and I don’t know if it’s a custom issue, but the people are rude and obnoxious. Rather than argue and get annoyed, I order from home. People who work in the service field (waiters, nail techs, etc.) need to know that tipping is not a law, and that it is a gesture of gratitude for exceptional service. It is wrongly expected – even for bad service. It has become such a reliable upon tradition that staff members will follow you down the street, get angry and belligerent and argue if you didn’t tip them or if they feel it wasn’t enough! I have seen them refuse to serve people ever again (at which point they should be reprimanded because that’s out of control.) The customer’s responsibility is to pay for the service provided. Asking or reminding a customer about a tip is so unprofessional and just plain wrong! Thanks for reading!
