after seeing reviews of this place, i expected the worst but was pleasantly surprised. we walked in here after hitting some golf balls at the driving range next door and were seated right away. our waiter was really jovial, and we had good service the whole time. the food wasn't gourmet, but it was standard bar food. the burger was perfectly tasty for a burger-lover such as myself...and, actually, the sweet potato fries were exceptional. we'll probably go back next time we go the driving range, since it's so convenient.

Came here with an out-of-towner to a brewery and sit near the water. I had never been here before, so figured - sure, why not. Boy, did we go wrong. The food was not good - not only in taste, but they got our orders wrong too. We all felt like we ate a lead brick after dinner that night. Service was SO slow, and not very friendly. I had to get up and go to the bar to finally get a glass of water. I would say come for the beer, but there are so many better places you can go! Just not worth it all around....

This is a default restaurant for me since I work in the area. The food is consistently bad. Ingredients are not fresh or of good quality.

Everything here was poor. I orderdd a veggie burger which was Ok but the roll must have been a week old. It was dry and stale. The hand cut fries were greasy and mushy. It took FOREVER to get served. My friend had a beef burger which he said was ok. I wouldnt go here again.

If you just want snack and a drink and to enjoy some time on the dock this is fine. Plan on being there 2 hours if youre ordering a meal..we went for lunch at 12:45 and didnt leave until 2:20. So do not go if you have time constraints. The food and service were both mediocre and Im being generous. Why it took an hour and a half to get what is essentially diner food is beyond me.

We came here because it was on the water and had easy parking and one of our party is in a wheelchair. we had read the reviews here and expected just o.k, food, somewhat high prices, slow service and expected that the place needed a serious sprucing up. but fine we're not picky and just wanted a pleasant afternoon on the water with o.k. bar food. We got here and the place was looking pretty shabby (worn interior- menus looking old and in greasy filmy plastic. o.k. we are willing to overlook for the waterfront location and casual ambiance. but when the food finally arrived the bratwurst hero that one of our party ordered was dry, shrived up and grey with white specs of god knows what- looked like a freezer burned piece of meat overcooked several times. even this could have been overlooked but when we asked for them to take it back (something we have basically NEVER done in a restaurant before though we eat out regularly in local pubs all the time) , the waitress looked at it and said "yes I understand" took it back and offered to have it taken off the bill which they did. fine. but it was not enough to just take it back and not charge us-- at least offer to exchange it for something else.... (?) at an expedited pace. maybe (?) ....(we had waited a real long time to get our food in the first place.) the wait would have been too long to go through the process again so my lunch mate just shared my hamburger. (which was o.k. I will admit.) on the positive side at least the waitstaff is pleasant- but please guys (management) -- get your act together. the prices are top dollar and again though we expected this for the waterfront location we came away very very disappointed none the less. just not worth it. we so wanted to like this place as there are so few places to eat along the NYC waterfront but will not be back and do not recommend.

The bartender was slow and unattentive, and the hostess was rude. The restaurant was not crowded, yet the waiters were disorganized. It was quite the disappointment, especially since their microbrews are fresh and original.
