I have been going to this restaurant for years. Best chinese I have had and I have been to tons from Chinatown to Shun Lee and other rediculously expensive places. I especially like the general tsaos chicken and the fried dumplings. The service is great and the staff treat you like family. I have even brought a couple chinese friends and they know Chef Ho's is the way to go.

The prices at this Upper East Side Chinese are ridiculously expensive compared to similar restaurants in the area. Average take-out for one person could easily run you close to $20.00. Still, the food is first-rate - particularly good is their chicken with cashew nuts, shredded prok with garlic sauce, and dry crispy beef. This little restaurant is also quite beautiful (I would even go so far as to say elegant) with very efficient service, making this a great choice if you are dining in, particularly on a date, but simply too expensive for regular take-out.

Good non-greasy Chinese food. The Sichuan Beef is the best! First Chinese restaurant I've been to where not every dish is covered with soy sauce.
