Look no further!
I go to Columbia University. I have been going to Cheesy Pizza for about two years now and i fell in love! The pizza is great! I have never been to a pizzeria that has such a wide variety of food like this one. They sell Slush Puppies, Gyros, and now Falafel sandwiches! What always blows my mind is how they have QuickDraw on and sell BEER! They close 5am! who else is open at that time?

best gyros
I was in greece for 2 weeks this past august traveling from santorini to athens and must say i preferred cheesy p's gyros to the authentic traditional offerings in greece. cheesy p's gyros have just the right flavor & the meat was so much better then the fatty gristly meat served in most tavernas i came across in greece. who new the best gyro was a block away after, traveling all that way.

Very mediocre
This pizza is not anything great and it's too expensive for what it is. The worst part is that they don't reheat or cook pizza in a regular pizza oven, they use some kind of Quiznos toaster thing.

Great Standby
Its no Sal and Carmine's of 10 years ago, but it is a great neighborhood standby. I've been consistently getting good slices and Chicken Parm heros for a year now, and where else can you get a slice on the UWS at 2 am.

Disappointment
Cheesy Pizza offered one of my favorite slices of pizza as a kid growing up. It was always too greasy, but nonetheless delicious -- the perfect cheese to tomato ratio. Also as a kid 99 cent slices were the best. I ordered a pie today and was thoroughly disappointed -- I am assuming there was a change in ownership and/or pizza making technique. The pizza tasted terrible and seemed to be very flimsy (lack of cheese/sauce/crust. The one redeeming quality of the pizza itself was that the crust was quite good.

not good
I have been here several times. I have no idea why I still chose to return except that I lived a couple of blocks away. Establishment is dirty, staff do not pay attention to orders and the pizza is below average. Something is not right when the slice is extremely heavy. They also use very cheap ingredients and you can tell from the first bite.
