Cheers has gotten better in 2008
The food has always been pretty good at Cheers. Pad Thai was never great, but we ordered it recently and it was very good. The panang is always good the curry Massaman is tasty, and I recommend the spicy dishes. Very good neighborhood thai. Don't expect quickest delivery though.

Two thumbs down.
I ordered delivery from here and it arrived an hour later and I'm only a 10 minute walk away (the delivery guy was on his bike)! I figured I'd give them the benefit of the doubt until I tasted the food. The Pad Thai was SUPER dry, the veggie dumplings had a ton of onions packed in them (seriously, they should be called onion dumplings), and the beef in my friend's dish was really rough. It tasted like the food had been made yesterday, tossed on the stove for a few minutes, and then sat around for awhile longer. I ordered from here because of a favorable review on notable Williamsburg website, but after having first-hand experience, I won't be doing it again.

No No No
Rice was disgusting and overcooked. Asked for medium spicy green curry with chicken. Instead I got inedible reddish colored curry that was so insanely spicy I couldn't eat more than a few bites. I LOVE spicy food, but this was a literal assault on my mouth. The chicken was rubbery. I just have to say...Im a fair reviewer, but this is completely unacceptable.

Nothing special
The only things this restaurant has going for it are the nice servers and the garden. The fried rice was over cooked, and the iced tea was watered down. The appetizers were okay.

Best in the Burg
Apps, soups, noodles and meats are very tasty, affordable and fresh. Their fried squid is amazingly crispy on the outside, soft and tender within. The chili sauce that accompanys it is delectable. The Satay's on point, as well as their peanut sauce, which is drinkable. They have a nice patio with a garden feel in the back of the restaurant, but if you're in the mood for take-out, your fried squid will be just as crispy as it is at Cheers. Oh, except for that one time that it took a good hour for us to get our food, which I have chalked up as an aberation. Enjoy!

Tastiest thai in this hood
This place is my favorite. The pad thai and red curry are way better than the other thai joints in the hood. I ain't no foodie or chef - i just have been to ALOT of thai places cuz its my favorite so ive tried different versions of the same and i can say Cheers is really my favorite in all of Williamsburg at the least. It aint fancy, the food is just straight up tasty yumminess that never leaves my tummy unhappy afterward. The pork chops are delicious too. The pad se yu is also really tasty.
