Cheeky is Yummy
I wandered in here looking for coffee... That was so good I came back the next day for breakfast ... Home baked bun with delicious non greasy lox omelette sent me into ecstasy. Verry casual un-decor..It's the food that counts. Very nice people work here.

Nice Sunday meal
Wow, me and the fiancee had a nice Sunday Brunch here and wow, great times indeed. The Po Boy's are feeling and tasty, I tried the chicken and she got a half-half oyster/shrimp. And the Beignets? We were fighting over. Fresh, hot, unbelievable. Take a sunday trip here or late night snack, highly recommend.

Yum!
This place is a real LES gem and has some of the tastiest sandwiches in the neighborhood at a great value. Not only are the shrimp, oyster and half and half po'boys on the proper bread, the bread is actually brought in from New Orleans. The atmosphere is lively. The service is top notch. The beef sandwich is to die for, as well as the chicken on a biscuit.

Yummy!
Cheeky Sandwiches is definitely a favorite now! Most of the food closest to my workplace are forgettable. Other than that, I would have to walk to Rivington, Houston, or Orchard, which cuts into my hour break. Cheeky Sandwiches is worth the late return to the office! Since I took my first bite a week ago, the Chicken on a Biscuit has become a part of my dreams. I plan my work schedule/meetings, etc. around that little walk over to Orchard Street. I also tried the Shrimp Po Boy, which was delicious and flavorful. Cheeky Sandwiches is definitely a GO!

"creole" food
I moved to NO a few yrs ago, and on a trip back decided to stop in here. Unfortunately, this wasn't very close to a NO style poboy shop. The food was a far cry from the type of sandwiches made in NO. The sandwiches weren't even on french bread. They did have olive salad. The bread pudding was dry and heated up the the microwave. The service was good, although the staff seemed unable to handle a large volume of customers well. They didn't have the typical sandwiches you would find in NO, like catfish poboy, shrimp and oyster with butter. But they had some other favorites.
