Intollerable chain company
I feel that every time a chain store opens up they try to convince you that everything will be worth while, incorrect everything went wrong for me and my girl when we got off the train from sunset pk to eat here. The service was very slow and rude. The burger was over cooked for reasons they don't explain. There is also garbage all over the floor they don't keep the store clean never go back

My wife says its the most subpar place ever
While I think my wife is exaggerating, I must say we gave it three tries - the first time we ate there and the food took an hour to be served. They were relatively new, so we gave them a break. The second time, I picked up the food and there was still a long wait for it when I got there (despite calling in advance) and the burgers were very dry, just like the first time. The fries were mediocre, so we decided, never again. The 3rd time was just for dessert - how can you screw up an ice cream order? But they did. Twenty minute wait (with an empty restaurant) for ice cream, their version of "fudge" was a criss cross across the top of the ice cream, could barely taste it. There is nothing in the restaurant worth going for, much less waiting for.

Customer Service Here Needs Improvement
I have eaten here once and it was really bad. They pressure you into ordering toppings and the pink color 50's theme is nauseating. I just placed an order for pick up and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. 2 minutes later I arrived w/ my dog to no order and confusion. The order was placed and received in their system but no one bothered to make it. Thanks for wasting my time.

Too bad, it was a great place for shakes
Our third time and last time there. We really wanted to like this place, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. The food was mediocre at best, I will miss the shakes!

Poor food and service
Recently went here on a Sunday afternoon with wife and 2 year-old son. We were struggling a little with the stroller and a couple bags of shopping. The guy at the door was really rude and unhelpful. He also insisted that we completely fold up the stroller so that he could store it elsewhere in the restaurant even thought the place was nearly empty at the time. Had we not been desperate for food at that moment, we would have left. The guy seated the three of us at a table for 2 (again - the place was nearly empty) and gave us attitude when we asked politely for a larger table. He sat us near a loudspeaker. The music was so loud we couldn't carry on a conversation. They wouldn't turn the volume down. Our waiter was nice, but the food was below fast-food quality and overpriced. Will never set foot in this place again. Oh - and when we left - the door guy couldn't find the stroller - then brought the wrong one out - then got upset with us when we told him it was the wrong one.

Fun!
Not sure what's with the negative reviews. In what world is six dollars too much for a table service restaurant in NYC? The burgers are good, the toppings are vast and free, everything from avocado to peanut butter, the shakes were good and in a zillion flavors. Love the fries. It's not fine dining but it's very fun, soda shop feel.

Not recommended
$27 + tip for two "small" burgers, one smaller soda (free refills though), a half-side of fries/onion rings and a small shake. Now that's a ripoff! In a neighborhood that prides itself on the Food Co-op etc. how can we tolerate the expensive drech that's being foisted on us? A "small" burger at $5.99 - it's no bigger than the quarter pounder and certainly no tastier. And what's with these guys that they can't change the oil? Seventh Avenue between 6th & 3rd Streets smells like a deep frier.
