    Smallest Thai tea ever

I've ordered many times from Charm Thai and the food is quite good, I find I need to pay extra for more chicken or pineapple in the fried rice... but this I can handle. Today they delivered my Thai Iced Tea in a tiny takeout container, less than 8 ounces... when I called they said this is how they always deliver it... it used to come in a tall drinking cup with a straw... I was not happy with how they resolved this, which was to lie and say this is how it's always been... I like their food, but recommend skipping the beverages...

    Fast delivery! Good food.

I once called this place and got my order (2 meals) within 15 minutes. I worried that this meant the food hadn't been prepared fresh or something, but looking at it and eating it, it was obvious it was. That's impressive. The lady on the phone can speak English, so there's no annoyance putting in your order, and as I said, the food quality is up there. No complaints about this place. They know what they're doing.

    Quick Delivery and great food

We ordered take out and it was delivered exactly 14 minutes after we called! Amazing! We especially loved the chicken dumplings and the Kee Maow with Beef. We usually order from Land and found this to be a great alternative.

    They will see better days

Tom Yum Goong: I was looking for the lemongrass (the ingredient is listed in the menu) and after examining every piece of scallion, after turning every green pepper and, of course, after tasting every well measured sip of the soup, I still couldn't locate that mysterious ingredient. Also, why has the restaurant chosen to use the cheapest, the most tasteless and ugliest mushrooms for their Tom Yum, is beyond me. But at least the overall flavor of the Tom Yum was not too bad. Red Garlic Chili: It would be appropriate for many a Thai restaurant in NYC to print the sweetness level right next to the spiciness level symbol in their menus. It is important to realize that (oh, the quirkiness of English) "spicy" and "sweet" are NOT necessarily the opposites. The tamarind souse was way too sweet (pick any pure honey and multiply by a whole number higher than 1) and despite the "spicy" symbol in the menu, it had non of it. Non whatsoever. The dish as a whole had non of the Thai savory and spicy flavor -- it was more like taking a bunch of frozen shrimp and dumping them in pound of sugar, jam and honey. For a "dessert" I had steamed mussels: ever been to one of those deli buffets? At least the variety of their meat colors was more lively than the previous two dishes: from gray, through green to orange. There was nothing Thai in this dish. It looked as if someone ran out from the back door of the kitchen to the nearest buffet deli to grab it. The service: inefficient but nice. I had my "spicy" shrimp spiced up in the kitchen and was thankful for that. Most of the staff seemed pretty useless but they made up for the lack of costumers (Saturday late dinner time!) with their quite pleasant personae. Without them the place would be as dead as dead places could be. Tip them well folks!
