Best pizza in the heights
Great place to eat pizza,I been going to eat pizza @charlies since I was a kid in the height love it.

Good value for a slice of NY pizza
I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but if you're in the area and are craving some pizza, it is a good place to grab a slice. Quick and cheap.

Great, fast pizza!
This place is really fast and really good food...the guys in there are also really nice and friendly. The garlic knots are delicious and you can fill up on less than 5 bucks. Highly recommended for good pizza in the heights!

history
i have been going to charlie's since i was about 4. at that time it was called fivo's pizza, but i'm guessing charlie, who used to work there, managed to buy the place. the pizza has always been great, and so has the rest of the menu. the prices have risen over the years, understandably. $1.75 for a regular slice. $1 for any extra toppings. i have not ordered a pie in quite a while so i couldn't tell you the price of that. customer service is great ordering as well as in person. its a small shop with a few seats and a couple of video games. its menu is quite traditional. pizza, lasagnia, meat patties, GREAT garlic knots, garlic bread, ect... i've always wanted to see charlie's expand, but i'm guessing charlie is afraid to take on more resposibility. i've never bothered to ask. if you are in washington heights and crave great pizza (thats not papa johns) check charlie's out.
