Speedy Service- yet scary? maybe
I agree..everytime and it has been A LOT...u order and the next thing you know a knock at the door. I always get the same thing, but sometimes its made differently..which can be annoying. It's better than most chinese places near me on the UES- 70's.

Fastest delivery in NYC
If you call at 8:00 pm you'll get your food at 8:07... scary actually. The delivery boy has a wok tied to the front of his bike...

Take your mom & your diet
This is a very solid, reliable UES Chinese place. The food is healthier than most Chinese resturants and there is a good selection of steamed and diet friendly items, but even standard fare is cooked without MSG and with the best quality healthy cooking oils, which makes a difference. The cost of dining is quite reasonable, and delivery is speedy. As for the decor--- time for a refit, certainly---but everything is always keept clean as can be, and the waiters are friendly and swift. Trust Charlie Mom's---you won't regret it!

Not recommended
I have tried this place twice now for delivery...urgh. There are several very good chinese spots up here, this isn't one. The food is the bland dumbed down for America variety, if you like that go for it! If you order sesame chicken everytime you might like it.

Good food, scary atmosphere
The inside of the restaurant looks like a vampire hideout and the utensils are ancient (had to asked for plastic ones instead).

Fast, Cheap, Tasty
There was someone knocking on my door as soon as I hung up the phone from placing my order. The food is good, the price is right, the delivery is unbeatable.
