1st impression
Was at this resturant on sun the 6of jan. It was the first time my family and I had Tai food. It was one of the best evenings we had. The food was great and the service was beyond compare. The waitress was fantastic. This place will be a regular stop when we are in nyc.

Poor Pad Thai
Just had pad thai from here for lunch, and I can't get over how poor it was. It was bland, brown, greasy, and unappetizing. Nothing to redeem it.

Garnish of radish roses and carrot haystackss
I read the review below from Lynne and very nearly threw my new laptop out the window. How dare she blame this amazing restaurant for an awkward date in which she was too uncomfortable to say what she meant!? She "hid inedible food" behind the "necessary"garnish. Sheesh. Not sure what was inedible, but nothing in that category was on my plate. Let me tell you - this place is fabulous. The crab rangoons and green papaya salad are delicious to start, and I absolutely loved my Panaang Curry with chicken. My hubby got a whole crispy fish he absolutely loved. It had a spicy sauce, and I was dying to try, but after some spirited fork fencing I gave up. We had a fried ice cream (shared) for dessert that was the perfect close to the meal. I live nearby, but heartily recommend this place to anyone, local or not. I will be back.

Good stuff
As good as ANY Thai restaurant in Hell's Kitchen. And it was here before all the rest!

We have it 5 times a month
The food is consistently good. Delivery is fast. Great value for the amount of food that you get.

not impressed
Although many people have recommended this place, both the duck and pad thai were disappointing. The duck was dry and tasteless. The "shrimp" pad thai was burnt and had only 4 shrimp in the whole dish. Much better thai to be had in the neighborhood.

The people are so nice.... the food is not
I feel bad posting this review, but in this neighborhood with so many options to choose from, this turned out to be a really bad one. And, in New York, to eat badly, is to be sad. First, the positive: the staff and people around them are great! They could not be more welcoming and it is obvious they care about their customers. Now, the real: the food ranged from bland to inedible. Inedible to the point of both myself and the person I was eating with chewing, and quietly trying to extract things from our mouths and hide them in out napkins. We were trying to hide it from each other, too, and pretend it was a good meal. We paid the check. We overtipped. We caught eachother only at the end both stripping our napkins of whatever inedible bits we had put by, and hiding it under the truly lovely, and necessary, garnish of radish roses and carrot haystacks that came on each plate.
