I thought I'd try this place since it's in the neighborhood. When I called for delivery I ordered 2 of the exact same dishes: simple shrimp pad thai. I specifically asked for both dishes to be made NOT spicy. They delivered both dishes extra spicy. One dish had about 6 very small shrimps, and the other dish had 1 piece of shrimp! 1! When I called about it, she said the chef made a mistake. She was brusque and did not apologize for the problem, then she said she would refund my money. After several weeks the money did not get refunded to my credit card. When I called the restaurant about it, the same woman kept saying she refunded it. She was extremely rude, abrasive, and argumentative. I had to get the credit card co. involved to dispute the charges. (and btw it shows up as some other business name when it gets charged and doesn't even go through as Chang Thai.) We ended up throwing out the food- it was unappetizing, dry looking ,and had tiny tiny shrimp (what few pieces were there)

A few weeks ago, our spice-craving tastebuds found me and my mate at a secluded little establishment called ChangThai in BayRidge which deserves its reputation as the best Thai restaurant in New York City. Its menu ranges way beyond the standard Thai eatery, offering bold, authentic Thai flavors. If you love Thai food, this is the place to go.

A different type of Thai cuisine but so good. Authentic dishes and a very casual place. All the noodle and curry dishes tried were very tasty and plentiful to share amongst the table which was nice. I recommend any dish they have that includes duck. It was perfect! Service was attentive. Everything is reasonably priced. Will come again for sure.
