    so slow

I don't understand what could possibly make an order of eggs and pancakes take over an hour -- but I'm never putting up with that again. Incredibly mundane, as well. You're a restaurant in Manhattan, you have competition -- get your act together

    Great value for money

I saw these reviews yesterday, and ordered the Penne ala vodka with grilled chicken - it was outstanding! huge portion..i'd say..for 3 people (if you don't stuff yourself that is..) I'm definitely going back!

    awesome...most of the time

I order from this place several times per week and am usually very satisfied. The burger, especially the turkey burger, are the best I've had in a long time. juicy, flavorful, lean, and grilled to perfection, all on a delicious brioche bun. french fries are just ok...if you order in, they usually arrive quite soggy. The penne a la vodka is out of this world, seriously, and the linguine with meatballs is amazing too. the meatballs are delicious and the tomato sauce is tangy and tasty. desserts there suck, I'm not going to lie. delivery sometimes takes forever...like an hour, but that usually depends upon the time of day that you order. I expect to wait a long time if I order during lunch, dinner not so much. sometimes the staff are very rude over the phone, and that is super annoying, but, whatever, the food is really great, so I don't care much. it's not a 5-star establishment, it's a busy catering business that does a lot of take-out orders. and, I am neither a friend or family member of any of the owners, just a neighborhood resident who loves this place.

    what's the fuss?

So I like the sandwiches fine, and the place is reasonably cheap, but the grandiose review is absurd. it really isnt much better than any other deli in new york.

    pissed off at crappy food

This was probably one of the most poor meals I've ever eaten in NY. I was excited about the decent prices and menu selection but after the food arrived I had a change of heart. Crabcake sandwhich seemed like it had been sitting out all day long piled on stale bread and soggy veggies. My ceaser salad was filled with soggy croutons, sour dressing, and wilted slimy brown lettuce(. Im not even that picky, but this food was not good.

    the burger ...

I've been ordering on and off from this place for about 3 years now, and I've always been impressed by the food - their sandwiches taste great, and smack of good quality. Delivery is prompt, and I've never had any problems with ordering over the phone. But ... until yesterday, I had never ordered their burger, and boy was I missing out. This is one of the best burgers I've ever had (in a neighborhood recently rife with burger places). This burger patty is a mouthful ... one could say huge enough. But it is sooo juicy! The meat tastes nicely marinaded, and is spiced too. It's just ... great. They deliver it so well layed out with all the additionals, that you can easily pick off what you want and don't want. To top it off, the bun is perfect. It is a sturdy bun, meaning you can pick the burger up confidently, but not, as often is the case in this situation, tough to chew on. It's just ... beautiful.
