Great.
Love the multigrain bagel. And the service. And the coffee. And the desserts.

The best coffee in the city
This is the place to go if you are patient and love coffee. Probably the best coffee in the city. It's a small place and easy to walk by. If I could give this place 6 stars I would. It is amazing and wonderful if you love coffee and have time to enjoy it. Not a grab and go style place though, if you're in a hurry go elsewhere. The costumer service is great..they are friendly, they call you by your name very nice good idea.

Feel like home!
I have been going to Champignon for almost 2 years and it has been always a pleasure to be there... The service is wonderful, extremely friendly, they know you by your first name and they remember your preferences... they make you feel like home in NY. You'll find there a great selection of fresh and delicious food and wonderful coffee. Go there you won't regret it! ;)

Friendliest Service & Great Food!
Love going to Champignon! Victor and the rest of the staff are so friendly and courteous. They always make myself, my wife and everyone else feel as if we were family.

won't be going back
i work in the area so i stop by sometimes for a coffee or snack. i've never been impressed by their coffee or pastries which sometimes are stale, but if i must have something i prefer going some place non-corporate.

My favorite NYC cafe!
I have been going to Champignon for 4 years and it is always the highlight of my work day. The service is wonderful- they are extremely friendly (they know most customers by their first names!) and are speedy with orders, making this a perfect choice when I need to grab a quick cappuccino, pastry, or lunch. Everything there is fresh and delicious. And the staff are extremely generous, donating two beautiful, large platters of food for a mental health fundraiser my department recently held. For all of the reasons above, Champignon will always hold a special place in my heart and I continue to highly recommend it to anyone who might be in the area.

Great sesame bagels!
I feel lucky to have Champignon just a couple of blocks away. I love their bagels, especially the sesame and poppyseed ones-they are far more flavorful and chewy than most bagels you find in the city. I prefer a toasted bagel at Champignon to a fresh one at H&H! You have to know what to order. Some of the sandwiches are great; some of them, esp. some of the paninis, are mediocre. Some cookies are good, although most of the more elaborate baked goods look very unappetizing to me. Obviously, they don't bake anything there, and some of their suppliers are better than others. Overall, an excellent little spot to get a quick lunch.
