    Very pleased with Champignon

I find this place to be delicious and not over priced for the size of their portions. I usually stop by for take out or delivery, but I think that's all they are expecting as there really is no where to sit and eat. The hazelnut coffee is the best I've had in the neighborhood... a little taste of heaven! I would suggest this place for take out or delivery to anyone!

    Great Meal

What a delicious meal! The caesar salad had very fresh greens, and the cheese and prosciutto we ordered was generous in portions. The citrus dressing was a good balance. The salami in the salami sandwich was judged the best we ever had. Our only reservation was that when we ordered broccoli to go on the fettucine with pesto, the portion of broccoli was a bit miserly. The soy latte was also tasty. We will be back.

    Though the word champignon...

Though the word Champignon refers to dishes garnished with mushrooms, we actually didn't eat anything with mushrooms. We had: A Spicy Cajun Chicken sandwich on a baguette which was ho-hum. The consumer of this sandwich was not very impressed as the baguette had a very hard shell. Overall he believes the sandwich was average, which comes as a suprise as he will eat pretty much everything (yes, even a whole bottle of syrup). A smoked turkey with chaddar on seven grain bread, which was decent. It lacked a condiment, as a little bit of mayo would of went a long way. Lobster bisque which won the "man of the match" award for "best food at lunch today" criteria. It was creamy and delicious. The New England Clam Chowda on the other hand was too liquidy and wasn't as delectable.
