    What??

HOW is this rated 4+ stars for food???? I am flummoxed. It's a decent place to get a pint, service/staff are GREAT, super nice people... but the food I've had there was subpar, and some of the things I've seen served to friends of mine were downright horrifying. Burger was alright, but not in same league as PJ Hanley's, if a bar-burger is what you're looking for. Last time, got a chicken wrap to be 'safe'. I wrang out about a half-gallon of mayonnaise from that sandwich before, once again, pushing the plate to the side and just ordering another Guinness, which is the closest thing to a satisfying meal you can expect to get there.

    Just a Great Pub

Ceol is a great pub with friendly staff. The food is good as well. I recommend the Celtic Feast if you're really hungry. It's awesome. They have live Irish folk music 2 nights a week with a fiddler that will blow your mind.

Like walking into Bellina, Co. Mayo

I love this place. It is lke no other bar in Brooklyn. The bar and the seating reminds me of a bar in Bellina Ireland. Food is great and the staff is execellent.

    We love this place

We go for the beer and the outdoor area, but the food is good too. I'd like them to lower their prices by a couple dollars on the food because it's basic bar food, but I still like it. Cheers!

    REAL Irish Food & Service

The owner is a genuine, extreemly nice, wonderful Irish Lady! The food is fantastic, the people are laid back and nice and the mood is always topnotch. Go here if you want to get away from the typical cookie cutter fake Irish Bars!

    Great cozy down home spot!

This has become a regular down home Monday Night Football spot for a few friends and me. The food is good, prices are good, selection of beer on tap is decent, service is great, and the waitress even seats us in the back room with our own TV tuned into the game. I recommend the Ceol burger and jalepeno poppers!

    Friendly and cosy

Sat in the garden and enjoyed a chilled wine before going back indoors to enjoy a great house salad followed by Chicken curry with Rice, friend had Pork Chops, all excellent! Waiter very friendly and attentive, you've got to see the decor, will be back soon.
