Great Night!
We took my sister in law here to celebrate her bday. They immediately accomodated our table request and offered speedy service. We started out with the Sangria, which needs a lot of improvement, it was full of lots of ice and barely had any flavor. We moved onto the margaritas which were much better. The appetizers were good size portions, the sopes are great as well as the chips and trio of salsas. For the main entree we had the pollas a la brasas and the short ribs, these were excellent. My brother in-law had the salmon which he did not love as much. Desert was great, they sang to my sister in law and gave us bday shots. Overall it was a good experience, but pricey. Good for special ocassions. Would definitely go back.

Why would anyone eat here?
The soul-sucking atmosphere competes with the taste-sucking food. While the fish in the taco was well prepared, the tortilla was gummy and the accompanying mango salsa was a spicy incongruous mess. The beef cheek ragu in the Enchiladas De Conejo was watery, flavorless and grisly. Garcia should poke his head in here once in awhile.

Amazing service and really good food!
We were on our way home from a party and decided to stop in and have a quick bite last night. The place had a very happy atmosphere and our waiter, Joey, was really nice. My favorite dish was the berry crepes and corn ice cream. Yes, corn ice cream! lol And the cappuccino was delicious! Great food, great service...we would definitely go back.

great dinner
i celebrated my birthday dinner here recently, and we all had a great time. the place is very cute, our server was friendly and attentive, and the food was fantastic. i highly recommend the queso fundido as a shared appetizer, as well as the guac. my salmon mojo de ajo was delicious. and for dessert, the caramel crepes were pretty amazing. i will definitely be back.

needs work, salty, confused servers
As a ‘Beca resident I have dined here twice and I really want to like this place...reasonable prices, good cocktails, chill atmosphere (esp the outdoor seating), however, the staff are confused and they have no passion for the food. It’s like ordering from a cafeteria server. Staff made no effort to offer recommendations...'would you care to begin with margaritas and guac to start?'. Then they served side dishes with apps without even acknowledging the error. Seriously? My second complaint was that the food was way too salty...and I am not a health nut…the entire party agreed. The summer heirloom tomato salad was legit, scallops were tasty, but the texture was on the verge of becoming hockey pucks. The cocktails are inventive. Stick with the moles, grilled fish or chicken. Ceviche is edible.

also live in Tribeca
This is a shout out to the review right below this one, I have eaten here several times and have never left satisfied, the food has been very hit or miss and the service has always been non-existant. The comment the writer made that said "Good Looking Staff" is irrelevant. Who cares what they look like? I just want to be acknowledged as the customer and have my order taken properly and without negative attitude. it sounds to be me less like a real customer review of the place and maybe a creative manager writing in instead?
