a good place to watch footy

i'm usually in attendance for the Prem matches on weekend mornings and it's a nice, relaxing place to sit and watch a game (unless it's a big four match then one must get there early and stake their claim). The breakfast good and the special for the breakfast and a pint for 11$ is a great value. If you're a football fan and want to avoid the crowds of Nevadas I'd say come here, where everyone intently watches and roars when goals are scored.

    Great place

Central is one of the best bars that I have been to because of their attentive team of waiters. The food is very good for a bar and they make it look as if you aren't at a bar. To ensure the best experience, go after 7 p.m. because a new shift of bartenders goes on duty. I am a bar type of guy but they have a nice atmosphere for people who like candles and comfy couches to sit on.

Bad Atmosphere, Great Burger and Fries

I went here for Sunday brunch and had a mixed experience. It was the coldest day of the winter and they did not turn the heat on. I loved the soccer matches on the tv's but the couches look liked they were from the 70's. Service was just alright. Once the place got crowded my table got lost in the mix. I do have to say that the hamburger and fries were amazing. The menu is also a good value. I doubt I will ever go back though.

    Great local place

I will be honest -- I have only had appetizers here. But the atmosphere is always great, the service is wonderful, and the happy hour is one of the best values in town!

    A place to relax

Good lunch value. The steak sandwich is my favorite. The after work crowd is pleasant and friendly. Not a college hang out, even though it's around the corner from Cooper Union.
