    So mediocre

The pasta tastes like it's out of a box and the sauce like it's from a jar. You are crammed on top of neighboring tables and then rushed into ordering and out the door.

    Excellent deal

The food here is extremely fresh and well-prepared. The mozzarella is delivered daily from Italy via DHL. The homemade pastas are our favorite items, the pizzas are also good. Really, everything is good. We've been here many times and never had a bad meal. It's a bit harried and they won't seat you unless your entire party is present, but we never felt they were pressing us to leaving or rude in any other way, contrary to what others wrote. At these prices, it's no surprise they want to maximize the number of diners.

Any time a restaurant has me in and out with wine, appetizer and entree - well then if that's the case, I may as well eat at McDonald's, no? The rushed feeling there turned me off so bad I would never go back. And the food was decidely unimpressive.

    Found its charm

Stumbled here after another restaurant had a long wait, and boy are we glad we did. This place was awesome, and it was downright cheap. The tagliatelle and the halibut were both perfect. The atmosphere was great, albeit a bit cramped. Will definitely return, soon!

    Like family dinner in italy!

Went here last Sunday with a party of 9 to celebrate a friends birthday. We were cramped at 3 small tables but that wasnt a problem, it was really fun! Felt like we were having a big family dinner in Italy. Food was delish. Owner was friendly. Will absolutely go back!

    Lost its charm

I WAS a regular...the last few times dining here left me feeling like I was being "processed" through, very rushed. Eating three courses with a bottle of wine should mean it's okay to sit for more than 1 hr. This last time, after we said we'd need a few more minutes to order the waiter told us he'd be back in two and we would have to be ready. Then we were told we'd have to leave as the waiter placed the check down without our asking for it (yes, in Europe they place down the bill without your asking, but they don't tell you to leave) . The food isn't so great that it's worth this treatment, there are plenty of other options in the area with better food and better service.

    Great little place!

I am surpirised by some of the reviews here - but then if someone is saying its better to have a jar of sauce - them perhaps you are wsting your time on that review. The place is small - read cosy; it is loud - read lively atmosphere, the service is relaxed - read they are not pushing the check under your nose before you have put down your fork; the food is homemade and authentic - read very tasty - if you want bland stodge then go to Pizza Unos or someother non descript freezer food place. Celeste is a great find - the owner is the best thing about the place - he is hysterical. C'mon people relax - a bit of atmosphere never did you any harm did it??
