The food is amazing. But the tables are too close together, and the service is sometimes lacking.

The food was great. The prices were excellent. The manager was pleasant. The wait was long. The atmosphere sucked!! It was very crowded. Each table was placed about 4 inches apart. We had to shout to each other throughout the whole meal. We were hoarse afterwards.

This is such an amazing italian secret, and the food is top-notch! Everyone is always friendly, and the manager loves to talk to you, and see if you like the food, he is a very nice person. This restaurant is casual, yet fancy, and classy. The food is a great value, and you go out feeling full, and promising to yourself to come back soon. If you like italian food, you most certainly need to try this great restaurant.

I checked this new place out on a rainy night and didn't have to wait for a table for four. The place is a little cramped, good for hearing couples fight. The waiters don't have to walk far so the service was excellent. We stuffed ourselves with apps, entrees, desserts, wine and coffees for $50/p.p - well worth it. The fried apps are great, pastas are light, and found the best tiramasu and gelato I've had on the UWS. Will definitely be back.

Three of us ate at Celeste last evening. The appetizers we had were: marinated tuna salad, fried artichokes and eggplant rolotini. All were excellent. Entrees were: swordfish and tagliatelle. Excellent. Go early so as not to wait for a table, but well worth the wait.
