    Bravissimo! Excellent Food and Service!

I found Ceci online through this site. Had never heard of it before. It was fantastic! We were seated right away despite being a bit late for our reservation due to traffic (called ahead to let them know we were running 10-15 minutes late). The service was fast and very attentive. The restaurant is clean and very nicely decorated. The food was delicious and very fairly priced. Appetizers (baked clams oreganato, mozzarella en carozza), entrees with side of pasta (eggplant parmegiana and veal sorrentina), and wine for my wife and I for $97 before tip. Excellent restaurant all around! Will definitely go back and we highly recommend it to anyone!

    Great Pick

A friend of mine gave me Ceci as a great little restaurant near the theatre district. True. Very good soft shell crabs, and they will substitute vegetables for pasta. The staff was attentive but not intrusive. We got in and out in time for the curtain with no problem. Good atmosphere. Overall very good.

Best Italian Food in Midtown, NYC!

Wonderful Northern Italian food, lovely service. The great George Lang of des Artistes said that he judged a restaurant by their bread and coffee, reasoning that if they cared enough to get right what no one came to a restaurant for, they'd care about everything. Ceci has excellent bread and coffee-- and everything else.

    Cosy, intimate atmosphere

We were looking for a pre-theater meal and this was perfect. The food was tasty, not too expensive, the service attentive but not overpowering and you could carry on a conversation without shouting. Very enjoyable; would go back.

    Worth waiting for

For several weeks everytime I called Ceci for a reservation and they were booked. Now I understand why after dining there Sat. nite. The service was excellent and the food was way beyond my expectations based on several negative reviews. I had the salmon and my friend had the chicken francese, my only complaint would be that the restaurant was too crowded. I will definately be returning.

    Warm wine and cold food

I had dinner at Cece this past Friday. We used a groupon that entitled each of us to a salad, entree and dessert. We ordered a bottle of white wine that was barely chilled. My pasta dish was served lukewarm. Service not so great. This was my first and last time at this place. Also, it is located on a busy, crowded, street loaded with other restaurants and cheap stores.

    Great food great friendly place

Looking around for a Italian place step in here with a good feeling. Delicious Osso Bucco and stuffed artichokes, my wife had the beets salad and lasagna and my friends had the carbonara and the duck that was the special. I taste it all, they were happy and me too. The wine was supertuscan that matched our dishes perfectly suggested by our waiter.
