Great Neighborhood Cafe... in one of the greatest neighborhoods

It's a great little neighborhood cafe on one of the best streets in the West Village. it's the perfect spot to grab your morning coffee, light breakfast or a delicious bite to eat while window shopping. Lot's of great salads, sandwiches, soups, wraps and incredibly tasty desserts. I wish it was in my neighborhood. I'd go everyday.

Too bad its so far away!

If I worked or lived nearby as I used to, I would eat at CC's almost every day. Not only are the ingredients super fresh but in such a cute small place you've got so much choice from the super healthy to the super yummy. Their desserts are so good... and if you have them after one of their great salads you wont feel so bad. It really is a great place, one that I wish I had nearby work so I can indulge without worrying about quality and taste. Deserves more than 5 stars =)

Like having your own personal chef...

Good things DO come in small packages! This tiny (seats approx 10) place churns out terrific breakfasts and lunches. Their House Breakfast Wrap (eggs, portobello, bacon, and cheese) is terrific - as are the other egg wraps, and the breakfast smoothies. The lunch sandwiches are delicious too, especially their chicken quesadilla, and the chicken curry. Most days, I just walk in and say "I'll take a Tomas Special," which means Tomas (the head chef) makes me what he thinks is especially good that day. Service is fast, and friendly, and they deliver too.

    i love this place

such yummy freshly prepared food. i am in love with the curry chicken salad and i get to pick whatever toppings i want on it. their sammiches and egg wraps are killer too. the cupcakes are divine but i am obsessed about their brownie. its one of the best i've ever had! fudgy and chewy on the inside, crispy on the outside...yummmm. kinda dangerous actually haha. the staff is super friendly and accomodating. love to read the trashy celebrity gossip magazines while sipping on an iced coffee the best! saw julianne moore there - i heard she's a frequent customer. that's cuz this place IS the best!! cute, charming and the quality of the food speaks for itself. thanks cc's cafe!!

    The Usual

I always make a point of having lunch at this extremely cozy cafe once a week, at a minimum. When I walk in ,I just say "The Usual" and they scurry to get me the "House" wrap, my favorite: marinated portobello mushrooms, eggs, bacon and Jarlesburg cheese in just the right , melted combination. As much as I like my "usual," from time to time, I get a craving for their Chicken Quesadilla served with Tomas' distinctive potato salad. If I don't announce it as I walk through the door, before I take off my coat they will be making my "usual." I do like variety but when I go through that door it's difficult for me to stray from that house wrap! This is the closest you'll get to a European neighborhood cafe, a home away from home.

    Friendly neighborhood place

I stop here at least once a week for their breakfast wraps and occasionally for lunch of a veggie burger (yum!). Everything is made fresh while you're waiting and the baked goods are made fresh every day by Tomas and Salomon. Great value for the neighborhood. I prefer this place to Out of the Kitchen a few blocks away. The service is friendly and quick. You see the same people frequenting the place just about every day. Teeny but quality food. I'm not veg, but love the veggie buger with a side salad with miso dressing. The cupcakes are just right with light, whipped frosting. Try the white cake with strawberry frosting! So good!
