Ciao Bella!
Very nice, casual Italian restaurant with "can't beat the price-sized" appetizer portion pastas ... a great deal w/ a salad and a glass of wine. Service could be better, but a good neighborhood place and definately worth a visit.

very pleased
had dinner here for the 1st time yesterday evening. The food was expertly prepared with fresh, high quality ingredients. The portions were perfect for the pricing. My friend and I ate: heirloom tomato salad - delicious, ripe juicy tomatoes perfectly dressed salad with blue cheese, apples, walnuts - very fresh...not over dressed. spinach ravioli with sage butter...yum seared scallops with lentils...excellent chocolate souffle - very good but room for improvement. Wine selection was very good. Service was good. We will return and taste more dishes.

Mmmmm gnocchi.
Some of the best Italian in the City. Cheese platters are great along with their pasta dishes. Always have amazing specials. My girlfriend almost broke up with me because I accidentally threw away her leftovers. Well priced for such quality food and wine.

Great Pastas
Delicious Pasta and a good wine list make this a great neighborhood find -- restaurant needs to work a little harder on service and the side dishes are a hit or miss ... had broccoli rape that was over-cooked and very bitter. Stick to the appetizers and appetizer-sized pastas with a few glasses of wine and you won't go wrong here.

Best Restaurant in NYC
I still cannot believe how much I love this restaurant. I know I should not even post this, because I am afraid they will raise their prices and it will be hard to get a reservation, but they have done a great job of being a moderately priced, high-quality restaurant. The wine list is extensive and many bottles under $30. All of the food that I have had has been nothing less than outstanding. The papardelle, gnocchi, mussels, specials, fondue, etc. etc. - it's all amazing. The place is really quaint and is cozy and not pretentious. Having been to almost every "name-brand" restaurant in the city, I feel confident this is by far my favorite restaurant in the city, and I'm lucky its so close to home. That being said, we are moving soon, but will make a point to come back here often. It can be romantic (we had a great Valentine's Day here) or low-key (dinner on Sunday evening before the work week). I am trying delivery tonight. Most of our dinners come out to about $85 (including wine, appetizer, two small plates, and dessert).

great to eat in or for delivery
I love this food. It is so fresh and well-prepared. It is one of the few places where the pasta is never overcooked. Even when I order delivery, the pasta arrives al dente. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Best meal out in a long time
Haven't been here since they changed the name from Luca. I have to say delicious. We ate items from the grill, Portobello mushrooms, calamari and shrimp and scallops. So yummy. The place has a nice vibe to it and the staff is so friendly. I would definitely recommend it.
