In a Sea of Wine Bars...
Cava is definitely my favorite of the wine bar intrusion on the Upper West Side!! I live in the neighborhood and make a point to go to Cava weekly. The waiters and bartenders make great wine recommendations and are always friendly and accommodating. Great place for a first date (our first was here!), very cozy and romantic atmosphere. Food is always flavorful and well prepared in my experience.

Okay
Well overall, okay. Scene was good. Good selection on wines. The low review is because the waiter swapped bottles on us for a much more expensive bottle - despite our order and without showing us the bottle. He acknowledged his error on 1 bottle, but not on the other 2.
