    still finding its way

I think Catherine's is still trying to find its way in Fort Greene. Has a bit of a diner feel, but not in a good way. The value is great, but the food is sometimes a bit blah. Hopefully they work out the kinks in the next few months.

    Great Caffe in Fort Greene

It is hard to believe that Catherine's Caffe offers such a quality meals at such a great price. This place has become our Sunday morning get together. Always great service, great ambiance and most of all, food.

    Great addition to the neighborhood!

Great food, reasonable prices and warm friendly atmosphere. I agree with last reviewer, the Hungarian pancake is wonderful (potato pancake filled with goulash). I do wish is was open later, would love to grab dinner after work.

    Good Addition to the Neighborhood

Fort Greene has needed a good diner for a while and this place fits the bill. Good diner basics for a good price and lots of great Hungarian specialties fill out the menu (the goulash/Hungarian pancake combo is definitely worth a try). One complaint: They need to extend their hours!
