I went to 'Catch De Fish' yesterday and was pleasantly suprised. Although there is really not much to the atmosphere, the food was delicious and perfectly portioned to leave you feeling full, but not over the top. The early bird special is an outstanding deal. I took four people to dinner and spent less than 75 dollars...where else can you do that in the city and have everyone leave happy....

I came here to catch a fish menu during lunch time. The price is very reasonable. I love the salmon with green curry. I have been to many Thai restaurants, PadThai and noodle dishes are always available. I always think of PadThai when don't know what else to eat which sometimes too greasy . This place is unique and creative. I did find a quiet place and a healthy meal for my lunch. It really catches my attention!

I love a new restaurant. Especially in the neighborhood. My friend and I wanted a snack around 5, thought we'd share the early bird special of coconut tofu soup, vegetarian summer roll, green salad, and seared grouper. I told the waiter I'm a fish-eating- vegetarian, but wished there were more tofu dishes on the menu. First problem: the soup arrived with a big chunk of beef nestled at the bottom. The staff were apologetic and brought me a "fresh" one - ugh, but all I could think about was that if a big piece of beef could fall into the soup, what else might've fallen in? Secondly the summer rolls arrived drenched in plum sauce. They were SO incredibly messy with the sauce that I had to use 5 napkins while eating three small rolls. Not a date food, and not light and fresh (because of the sauce) like summer rolls usually are. The fish was okay, but definitely nothing I'd order again. I hope something better will move in soon.

Great value for brunch and early dinner. Delicious food and wonderful service. The food is healthy and light and the portions are just right. The salmon was great.

A comfortable neighborhood spot serving nouvelle Thai dishes, the unfortunately-named Catch De Fish is worth visiting and re-visiting if you enjoy the rousing flavors of Thai cuisine. The menu offers soups, salads, and an array of mains, divided between fish, seafood, and meats. You select a protein and decide how you want it prepared (broiled, grillled, or poached) and also select an accompanying sauce or salad. The result is a nicely-portioned serving, flavorful and eye-catching. Emphasis is on fish/seafood, but my meat-eating companion highy enjoyed his grilled sirloin. Sadly, vegetarian options are limited to the salads. It would be great to see the restaurant add mains using tofu or seitan. The wait staff is friendly, and they let you linger as long as you'd like after dining.
