    Amazing

We keep going back. The food reminds me of mom's homemade cooking. It's fresh, tasty and the portions make you smile. It's not like restaurants where you need to search for the food. I really enjoy the atmosphere of this place. They are super sweet and very welcoming. I really have nothing to complain about. The selections are great and if there is something special you want all you have to do ask they will make it if they can with a smile. The pizza is amazing too. The smell alone will have you drooling. You really need to go there and see for yourself. I hope you enjoy as we always do. Cataldo's WELCOME to the neighborhood. We are happy you came.

    Tastes like tin

I've ordered from here twice and have finally accepted that I should never order from here again. They use canned veggies on their pizza - which turns it into a mushy tin-flavored slop. I couldn't even finish the slice. Not recommended at all if you like fresh and well-made food.

If you love Vinnie's of Carroll Gardens, you'll love Cataldo's

Great Italian American fare. We came here with 3 generations of family and all were pleased. Note: they are no longer BYOB, they now have a wine list.

    Really great food, we're regulars

My wife and I order in from Cataldo's almost every week - the ingredients are fresh, the cooking is simple and flavorful - we love the salmon and filet of sole, and the pizza is incredible. Her brother went there with his wife and 3-year-old and they loved it too. Try it!

service is nice but i will never go back again.

I was very excited to see this new Italian place come to the prospect heights. went for dinner and it was the WORST I have had in a long time. my alfredo was liquid. I saw my husbands chicken being prepared. It came out of buffet style heating containers (who knows how long it had been sitting there.) and then was promptly put into the microwave. yes a microwave. He could barley eat it, which says a lot, green beans were soggy and rice was not edible. All meals except for the pizza were done this way-I was shocked. The service was good and our waitress was nice but the food was not good. This venue will not last long.

    love it!

Great pizza, best in Prospect Heights. Pasta was also very good. Fish was prepared very well and the price was great. We stuffed ourselves and the check was only $35.00. BYOB and wine shop right across the street. This is a great family run place with good quality Italian home cooking. Can't wait to go back.
