Excellent night
We came to this Russian place by mistake, which sometimes happens on Friday 13, when everything goes wrong, we had no reservation, we were in bed mood already and we expected the worse from this totally unknown to us place. We had no idea that Russians are celebrating New Year twice, based on old calendar. Caspiy was almost full and very crowed . That was totally unexpected to us, and specially the live band they have there. The music was so excellent and the whole atmosphere was so nice, that we could not believe it. We were unsure what to order, because we never tasted Russian cuisine before, but the food quality was amazing. The waiter did a great job, he described to us very patiently almost all restaurant’s menu, and gave us few advices, based on our preference. Our order was ready very quickly, that surprised us, because the place was full of people. The serves was excellent in all means. After all, we can say, that that was the best experience we ever had when you check some new places, you have never been before. Now, we definitely will be their regular customers.

On Saturday, January 15 celebrated my birthday. Cozy, delicious, music is the best! Made the experience of going to restaurant pleasant and time worthy. We had a good time. Hope to see you soon.

Not recommended
We were there for the New Year Party. Music was perfect but the rest was just disappointing. We didn't get to eat everything what we had on the paper in New Year menu. Our half bottle of champagne was gone, and we did not ask anyone to open it. When I looked online at the pictures of this restaurant I thought that there will be enough room but the restaurant is just tiny. I was very glad to hear Russian music again, but the service and the amount of food was just awful. Anyway people just do not go there. It's just a disappointment.

Yummy and warm
We had a 35 people party at this place on December 4, 2011. I just want to mention, I have been to many Russian restaurants in Brooklyn over the years. This one can beat any so called fancy Manhattan restaurant in food quality and service. The food is Russian with the French accent prepared with fresh ingredients (you can smell it). Service is so warm and personable and attentive - you do not want to leave. Absolutely recommend it. Period.

Really good russian restaurant.
Good food, friendly staff and the place look nice. My girlfriend and I decided that we don't want a huge wedding; we will come to Caspiy and have it in your place. Thanks a lot.

Place is cool!
Guys, this place is cool. I‘ve invited my colleges who never went to russian restaurants, they are not russian, but we had such a great time. The food was good and the place looks very nice.

Fun
Great food, great music. The best party ever...
