    Loud, dark and cramped

The food was good, our server tried her best, but our dinner was absolutely ruined by the atmosphere. Too many small tables crammed into a tiny space. If you're sitting on the (hard wood) banquette, it's not so bad, but if you're on the outside, expect everyone who passes to slam into you. Not very pleasant if you're about to sip your drink. It's also incredibly dark. One votive candle on a table gives a flattering glow, but you can't see what you're eating at all. The most annoying thing though is the noise level. You have to scream, even if you're sitting inches away. Our heads still ached hours later. I'd give this place a pass.

    Wonderful time!

We had a great time, food was perfectly cooked and presented, service was so special; thanks Elaine! Atmosphere was rustic and felt like home with the fireplace on, perfect for any date or family dinner!

    Nice on the surface but...

THis place looks so warm and inviting but I was very disapointed with the food for the price. It was bland and poorly presented. Plus, we got he cheese and meat plate and only three flat bread crackes came with it. And, we had to wait about half an hour before our request for more crackers was granted. And it was so loud, I could not hear my date speak. I could barely hear the waiter. Plus, the dining area is located up some really poorly lighted stairs and I saw a few people trip on theirway back down.

    Impressive

This new American / tapas type stylish restaurant is what the Hill has been yearning for. You no longer need to go down town for a cool, hip, fun meal a long with the atmosphere and the most reasonable prices around with sizable portions. This one is a keeper. Highly recommended for friends and/or date.

    great but needs improvement

Have been here several times. While I love the atmosphere and the food is decent, the manager doesnt seem very welcoming. In addition - sometimes food takes forever. But is nice to have a new option in the hill

    Loved it!

we went in for dinner last night and had a great time! The low lighting and decor make for great ambiance. The food was delicous. I especially loved the cocktail trio, it comes with lobster, crab and shrimp, each with their own sauce that compliments perfectly. My friend who hates mussels changed her mind after tasting them here, get them with white wine and chorizo! We decided to have the cheese plate for dessert. You can choose between a selection of 3 or 5. We had the selection of 3 and let our server choose for us. I dont remember what they were but we finished every last crumb. The portion size was also much larger than i was expecting. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing. She was always there when we needed something and never made us feel rushed, even though there were many people waiting for tables. After dinner we decided to have a glass of wine at the bar downstairs. What a hidden little gem! The bartender was great! She even let us try a few different wines before making our choice. I'll definately be back!!
