Wooden and interesting lighting/ decor, amazing food, excellent service. Try the lamb nachos if you like spice and deliciousness. Comfortable setting, waitress was amazing. Love!

Pros: nice atmosphere (definitely go for a drink after work and order the flatbreads - especially the fontina) which was our appetizer and was delicious. Cons: bland, under seasoned, poorly prepared food. Table ordered scallop entree and short rib entrees. Scallops were poorly seared (barely seared) and short ribs could barely be cut thru with a steak knife!! How could the chef not have touched that meat before sending it out!!! On a positive note our server handled the problem quite professionally. Apologized...removed the dishes, the kitchen sent out the taco appetizer (disappointing too!) while the new entrees were being prepared steak (which was just mediocre but way better than short ribs), our dessert (bread pudding) was on the house (way too dry and bland) - milk for coffee curdled, too! I think our server was about to lose it when we called him over (again!) to show him the coffee cup!! Unfortunately, I left with no desire to return.

Food and service was excellent. Definitely will be there for brunch again. The only negative was the small space.

The food is amazing, but cask is perfect for a first (or second or third)date because the extraordinary lighting.

The food was good, our server tried her best, but our dinner was absolutely ruined by the atmosphere. Too many small tables crammed into a tiny space. If you're sitting on the (hard wood) banquette, it's not so bad, but if you're on the outside, expect everyone who passes to slam into you. Not very pleasant if you're about to sip your drink. It's also incredibly dark. One votive candle on a table gives a flattering glow, but you can't see what you're eating at all. The most annoying thing though is the noise level. You have to scream, even if you're sitting inches away. Our heads still ached hours later. I'd give this place a pass.

We had a great time, food was perfectly cooked and presented, service was so special; thanks Elaine! Atmosphere was rustic and felt like home with the fireplace on, perfect for any date or family dinner!

THis place looks so warm and inviting but I was very disapointed with the food for the price. It was bland and poorly presented. Plus, we got he cheese and meat plate and only three flat bread crackes came with it. And, we had to wait about half an hour before our request for more crackers was granted. And it was so loud, I could not hear my date speak. I could barely hear the waiter. Plus, the dining area is located up some really poorly lighted stairs and I saw a few people trip on theirway back down.
