Best Lunch Spot on the whole strip!

I love their sandwhiches, especially the chicken with the roasted red pepper sauce, Yummy!

    Soooo good!

Been here a couple times, and each time I try something new and have yet to be disappointed! The food tastes like it's made with love. Am always excited to go back, great place, owners are great people, I'd recommend to anyone

    Great food, but...

The food is excellent, but where does a restaurant that uses laminated menus get off charging what Caselnova does? Absurdly overpriced for what it is. There are plenty of casual Italian places around the area with comparable food for a way better value.

    Worth a Visit

Located in a sleepy section of Carroll Gardens, this place is a find! Went with a few friends, shared a bunch of items on the menu, we couldnt find one dish we didnt like. The house salad has an awesome dressing on it, the pizza was amazing. It had a light airy crust, and not overly cheesed like so many places do. Manicotti is a must try, as is the fusilli. I guess if we had to knock one thing it would be the Cotoletto. The dish is very tasty but kinda heavy with cream and prosciutto and cheese. But then again the potato croquette that came with the dish was worth it. If you live in the neighborhood and have not tried this place, its a gem. Worth a visit!

    Great casual meal

My husband and I ate at Caselnova's the other night with our two small children. As soon as we sat down, they offered my kids a wonderful color your own pizza menu and crayons. Perfect! The kids were so excited to order their own pizzas and they arrived, fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. The salad was crisp and fresh with an amazing red peppper dressing my husband raved about the pork and potato croquette. We will definately be back with kids and without.

    I love to eat!

It's nice to see that Redhook is coming into its own. We tried Caselnova on its 5th day being open and surprisingly, it felt like they had been open for years. In a beautiful modern setting, with a lovely noticeable brick pizza oven, the food just kept coming. We tried several dishes including the Biannca Pizza and it was AMAZING. As a pizza lover, this is as good as it gets. Something that I also think is a must is the Penette ala Vodka. I know, I know vodka sauce, I have had it a million times, BUT not like this, there is a smokey pancetta that is in the sauce that makes this not only unique, but irresistible so much so that I wanted to pick up the plate and lick it clean. Looking forward to returning maybe for the classic Italian Sunday dinner they have!
