    Tell All Your Friends....

...well maybe not all, want to make sure there is a seat for me! Went there on Saturday for an impromptu lunch with a friend...Fantastic! And the Bartender is easy on the eyes as well!!! Best Mexican on the UES, hands down!

Best Bet for Top Notch Tacos on UES

This place serves up some of the best tacos I have ever had! Authentic and fresh ingredients. Reminded me of some of the best I had while living in Mexico. Not sure what some of the reviews on here expect for service from a local taco joint, but I found the staff friendly and received our food in a timely fashion. A definite welcome addition to the UES!

    Best Mexican on the UES

We love Authentic Mexican and this is by far the best place on the UES. The Chicken tacos, roasted shrimp and Quinoa are awesome. The corn is great! The guacamole is also delicious. Definitely worth a try.

    Small Portions, But Good!

I stopped by today to check out the new neighbors. I got one order of their pollo chiplotle tacos (2) and their guacamole with tortilla to go. First the good: The food was very good! The tacos were very tasty, if messy. The guacamole was fresh tasting -- I'd probably try the spicy next time just for fun. The improvements: They are small portions for too much money. Two small tacos for $7.50; I think they were worth $5 or $6. Also, very annoying that you can't mix & match your taco order. They're all the same price, get over it! The tortilla with the guacamole? It's a little precious that they don't break them into chips. Three whole big round fried tortillas is a little obnoxious. Form over function, meh. I'd go back again and try their drinks -- it's obviously a place for drinks and noshes -- but it's not a regular addition to the repertoire.

    Ummm....

ewww. i will be the first to admit that nyc is def lacking for good mexican. the trend continues w cascabel. aside from the food being barely edible, it's as though they took one of those places from the east vllage (or les) and transplanted it to the ues!! the people too. i had to shower again when i got home! if u want something edible go to maz. or cali..haha

    Subpar

We ordered pork, they sent chicken. When we sent it back, they insisted it was pork. It was chicken. The tacos were okay, not mind blowing, over priced. The drinks were terrible. They sent one drink that was very strong (not complaining) and one margarita that was pure lime juice - sent that back - the follow up was poor. They should be able to make a taco in less than 30 minutes. We left before finishing the meal.

    Great tacos!

The chicken tacos are to die for. They are seasoned to perfection and just packed with meat. Three tacos was more than enough food. My date had the Chirizo tacos and his meat was definitely overcooked, so I wouldn't recommend those. He had a bite of mine and was talking about them for the rest of the weekend, haha. We'll definitely be back!
