Love this place!
Don't understand any of these negative reviews. We've ordered in and eaten there many times. The food is delicious and really reliable. I highly recommend our favorite -- the shrimp tacos! This is the best Tacqueria in the neighborhood. Enjoy!

Not recommended
I just ordered delivery from here and was so disappointed by what came that I literally just threw it out. The fish tacos came with fried fish that looked like it came out of the freezer section in a grocery store. It was topped with chunks of hearts of palm and quite honestly it resembled airplane food so much that I couldn't even eat it. I took a bite of the mealy corn tortilla then threw it out. I also had the corn and it was way over-cooked so I also only took a few bites. The guacamole was the one redeeming factor but they only gave us three chips with it so that was little help. I would never order from here again.

Perfect Pre-Movie Spot
Ever since we sampled these open tacos at the Feast to benefit the Center for Hearing and Communication in October 2011, we wanted to try them again. Here are my impressions. Decent location. Fun bar. Drinks served in bell jars. Great unique beer list, too! Serving style and dining approach seems unique for an upscale surf shack. Liked the wrestling mask motif. Cool metal trays for entrees and apps. Guac is guac, but their chips are different. Hip but warm atmosphere. And our service was plenty attentive. Perfect for us before we took in a movie. Light dinner for 2 was $45 before tip.

Very Disappointed
I tried Cascabel last weekend and it was not good at all..... Shrimp tacos had no flavor, same for Chicken tacos. Guacamole bland... I could go on but I'm sure you get the picture. Will not return.

It has deteriorated
I used to love the tacos at Cascabel, but I returned there recently and was disappointed. The shrimp tacos were bland without the nice fresh oregano taste they used to have, and the fish tacos were dry and tasteless. My husband had the carnitas tacos and they were quite average. I certainly will not go back.

Amazing tacos
the food here is excellent, authentic and high quality. the atmosphere is low key. it's always packed so service can be a little slow, but nothing to complain about. I come here at least once a week on my cheat day!
