Living on the Upper East Side for ober 20 years, a place has to be pretty damn good for me to visit two days in a row. It's refreshing to see a place not just trying to feed people, but also want to feed them well. The food was phenomenal, or what I've had of it so far. A lot of work goes into the dishes and it shows. The Gorditas, thick medallions of pork belly between to warm toasty corn cakes with a vibrant chipotle honey glaze was a great start. The tacos, I've tried three different ones so far, were extremely tasty, with lots of layers of flavor, great textures, and an abundance of freshness. The service was friendly, courteous and quick, and finishing the meal with surprisingly light and airy Churros was the capper. Some have commented that the portions were too small for them, at least for the price (I'm no Rockefeller, but I got full well within my budget), and I tell them if you just want to just get full for under 10 bucks, there are plenty of fast food delivery Taco Today's and Fresh Tortillas that should satisfy you. But if you enjoy eating great, fresh, tasty food and are not just trying to stuff yourself, this might be the best addition to the neighborhood all year. You're not going to find a place anywhere in the city that makes their own salsas, sauces, and chorizo and puts fresh hearts of palm and veal tongue and puts it on a fresh made flour tortilla for just $2 bucks! Not gonna happen. I do urge everyone, though, to not just take my word for it; come in and try it out for yourself. I'd bet that most of you will be quite pleased...!

Wonderful addition to the neighborhood. Tried numerous dishes, all fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant

such a great find, good enough for me to write a review - amazing tacos (i had the carnitas, friends love the fish). such a great place to grab an quick, good bite and have a beer. will be going back. often.

Looked forward to the opening. But, the portion sizes are way too small. It was too expensive for the portion. Won't be coming back.

hands down...quality is amazing...worth the price

The food at this place is good but PORTIONS are small. I ordered the LARGE platter and it's laughable for $14. The portion was so small, specially for the price. Throw some rice in it or something, not filling at all. The tacos are also TINY... Add a taco or mak it four taco's.. I like the food but prob won't order again unless they increase portion size.... I just spent $20 dollars and currently cooking more food

Ordered takeout from here a few days ago. Extemely quick and friendly. Then the best surprise of all, everything was delicious! So happy to have a good taco place in the neighborhood.
