    Great Experience

We have been to this neighborhood restaurant 3 times, and I am looking forward to another wonderful experience tonight. The staff is attentive and the food is delicious. For an appetizer I would recommend the Garlic Shrimp, and Warm Brie with fried grapes yum!! I also enjoyed the Steak Frites for the main course. Last time we went on a Friday and were delightfuly surprised when a Belly Dancer came out to entertain. This place is DEFINITELY worth trying.

    very disappointing

The food was completely overpriced for the quality and quantity. I could have cooked my salmon with more flavor, and the vegetables were drenched with oil. Our party had ten people, so we wanted somewhere loud so that we wouldn't be obnoxious to other customers. However, this restaurant blared bad music so loudly we were screaming and yelling at the person next to us, and I said, "WHAT?" after each sentence. I could barely hear the girl next to me, let alone anyone else at the table. Although we were looking for somewhere loud, this was absolutely ridiculous, and we either had to eat in silence or scream at each other. The service was not good. The waiters glared at us and gave us attitude when we asked for more complimentary bread, and my glass of water was empty more times than it was filled. We went to celebrate a friend's birthday, and they were so rude to her and others, and when we asked if they could give her a slice of cake with a candle, the waiter took over thirty minutes to bring it, forgot to put a candle, threw the dessert down in my friend's face, and even forgot a fork. After a couple of minutes, we asked for a utensil, and the waiter defensively argued that of course we were entitled a fork and how rude it was for us to ask for one, even though it was them who had forgotten such a basic necessity. They also charged us for the dessert, so it was not a birthday celebration slice of cake in any sense of the word. Overall, the food was not good at all, the service ruined the entire birthday celebration, and I left hungry and annoyed at the entire evening.

    Wonderful chef, amazingly comfortable

We went with a group of friends and I was stunned by the variety and quality of the food this small, but also cozy and comfortable place has to offer. You have so many choices in Moroccan and French cuisine that you definitely have to come back several more times to try them all. We sampled a couple of appetizers and had the couscous, all of which were just a pleasure to look at and taste. I can highly recommend this place for anyone who lives in the area as a great neighborhood restaurant and also for anyone who needs to travel here because guaranteed, you will not find this quality of food somewhere else in the city. Furthermore the service was great and attentive and the moroccan decor gave it a very personal touch. A+

    Great neighborhood spot

Have been here several times. Love the food here. The avocado hummus is amazing, as is the goat cheese tart, spinach gratin, tortilla and brie. Didn't care much for the tagine. The atmosphere is great. I went once on a Friday and it was very pleasant. On a Thursday evening when I went once, they had live jazz which was a nice touch, but it made it very hard to talk. I wasn't a fan of it. I feel the restaurant could do without it. When it's crowded, the service can get a little slow, but they still do a great job. The food is amazing, and I will definitely be going back soon. It's my new neighborhood spot.

    great new neighborhood restaurant

It's so nice to have a great new restaurant like this on 2nd avenue. We've been there twice now and have really enjoyed ourselves both times. We're working our way thru the tapas menu and everything has been fantastic. If you go, definitely try the garlic shrimp and both the goat cheese dish and the brie dish are a GREAT way to end a meal. They definitely still have a few kinks to work out with the service, but everyone is super friendly and the food is great.
