This tiny Moroccan bistro is an unlikely gem in Murray Hill. Chef Lahcen Ksiyer offers some fine Gallic and Spanish fare on his multinational menu, but the iconic dishes of his native Morocco or shredded chicken and almonds wrapped in a thin, flaky crust; Couscous Royale, tossed with raisins, root vegetables, caramelized onions, grilled merguez sausage, and stewed chicken and lamb?are the real reasons to visit. To find better homespun North African cooking, you?d have to travel to Paris or Casablanca?or at least the far reaches of Brooklyn or Queens. This Spanish, French and Morcoccan Tapas joint is complete with live music, brunch and late night dining!

Ended on a sour note
My boyfriend and I have been to Casaville many times and enjoyed it, I bought a Groupon and had a nice dinner tonight. Did not notice until my boyfriend looked at the check that they added a 20% gratuity to the total. I put in my card without looking and would have double tipped if he did not notice and this upset us a lot. We would have tipped 20 anyway but it was very insulting to have it added for a party of two without any choice or mention by the server/manager. 20 % is a presumptuous baseline tip for a party of two and really tacky. We will not be returning anytime soon because the manager did not call attention to the added tip or offer to take it off when we said something about it. It is just ridiculous to not give customers the respect to figure out the tip themselves or even the option. A very annoying experience.

Amazing date spot/Monday dinner!
Great little joint for a date (or pre/post-movie drink and tapas). Decent prices and a very affordable Monday night menu.

Excellent Tapas
I went because I had a coupon for a free pitcher of sangria. I was expecting small portions, but got huge ones. Went on a Sunday afternoon; it was quiet. I really loved the food and when my friend and I split the check it came to $16 each. I will definitely be returning.

snoozefest
The food was boring, bland - just OK. The sangria was not very tasty. The music that was playing was very outdated and strange (spice girls and all saints?!?). The waitress kept coming over to clear our plates when we were clearly still not finished and didnt even ask. Overall, pretty dissapointed.

long wait for food and really disappointing drinks
I went with my boyfriend to this place and first ordered the dinks at the bar. we ordered two ketel one martinis and the bartender poured in front of us house vodka. We asked her again for ketel and she said that it is all the same. We noticed the barback taking the bottle behind the bar and filling it up with house. We decided to stick with the wine. We ordered a cabernet and tasted like vinegar. Finally moved to the table, ordered our food and had to wait about 40min for it. Although it didnt seem to be very busy. The food was ok.Our waiter was good and friendly. The service we had from the waiter was the only good thing that we had at Casa ville. T
