Chicken Parm.
Its all about the chicken parm. Its delicious and the portion can easily feed you for 2 meals. This is also the only place in Greenpoint with good delivery pizza. Cant comment on the decor as I have only ordered from here but in terms of delivery they always are pretty prompt. I am not kind about the chicken parm. I'd sell my mother for some right now.

Great Pizza!
The fresh pies are as good as you get, especially the grandma pie. Single slices are usually old and not recommended. The restaurant is solid, but a little pricey for a pizzeria restaurant in the area. Good food!

Not so great
I ordered takeout and it wasn't that great. Not only did the pasta sauce from my eggplant parm leak out through both the paper and plastic bags by the time I got home, it was kind of hard to chew. My salad was fine, but overall, I'd probably be more likely to try somewhere else than go back.

A great option
We started ordering delivery from Cassanova after being let down by other pizza places in the area (Carmine's, Shmooks, I'm lookin at you here) and it's very good. Not the best pizza in the area, but still excellent, and at least when you order it you know your pizza/food will show up in a reasonable amount of time. The dinner dishes are excellent, I've never tried anything that I didn't like, and some (like the gnocci) while slightly expensive, are an awesome deal for the amount of food and quality you get.

Non-Hipster Viewpoint
I've been been going to Casanova's since it opened in 1973. My friends and I appreciated that it was open 24 hours on the weekends. The owner and his spoon squad behind the counter were always friendly and courteous to everyone. Please ignore the reviews posted by pretentious hipsters whose idea of a good dining experience is limited to the number of obscure brands of beer offered by an establishment. Concerning the atmosphere, get real! This is a pizzeria. Casanova's doesn't plaster the place with Thrift Store throwaways just to indulge in some hipster's retro-geek inetrior decorating ideals. The slices and heros are the some of the best to be found in Greenpoint/Williamsburg. Casanova's also offers a fantastic seafood pasta and, their veal marsala ain't shabby, either. You want pretentious go to Hipster Central, Williamsburg. There are plenty of joints more than happy to relieve you and your 15 roomates of your geld in exchange for some third-rate chow. If you want good, affordable eats without listening to the waiter/waitress's annoying ramble about his/her latest acting gig, go to Casanova's. You won't be disappointed.
