Dined here during the summer beautiful outdoor area with white drapes ... The ambience was great Latin music playing and the decor was enriched with the feel of Puerto Rican culture ... As for the food I tried the salmon out. Presentation was beautiful but as for taste it was bland and seemed as if the chef just place it on grill and let it burn on one side no seasoning to it & it was also very dry... Sweet plantains were great, sangrias were amazing For dessert I tried their cheesecake. It was frozen I could not even cut through it :( I would say this place is great for summer time to sit out with friends and drink!

I went there for dinner and had a great time. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered was delicious. The chicken empanada was juicy, flavorful and had a crisp shell. The skirt steak with taro root mash was cook to perfection and the jerk chicken was well seasoned. The flan was definitely home made, it was rich and creamy. The portions are just right, you leave there feeling satisfied, not over stuffed. This is a great place to bring a date or go out with a group of friends. The decor is relaxing and beautiful.

Just visited Casa Ventura for the first time last night. I must say that I was totally surprised at how amazing the food was! The spices and flavors were perfect... not to subtle or too strong. We had 3 appetizers that were out of this world. We then had two entrees, a simple but well presented grilled just right salmon dish and a shrimp dish with an amazing curry/coconut milk type sauce. The sauces that are used are so delicious that if I had bread I would have cleaned my plate dry. Our waiter was not only charming and attentive but helpful in choosing our selections. The mojitos are excellent. Kudos to the chef and bartender! Overall service and dining experience... PERFECT! We will be back soon!

It was my first time having Puerto Rican food and I would definitely go back. I had Asopao de Langosta. Regardless if it was frozen or fresh, I was surprised that lobster is only $14.95! It was warm, flavorful, soupy than your usual Southern Gumbo, topped with pieces of lobster tail, and sides of tostones. The staff was friendly and fast. You must try to the classic mojitos or the Casa Ventura mojito.
