We had Migas, croquetas, Jamon serrano, calamari, and as a main dish the paella valenciana with seafood, chorizo and chicken, everything was good, but the paella was excellent. good quality for the price. We'll comeback.

This place is amazing. The squid in ink noodles are a must-try. The service is terrific and the atmosphere is good enough for date night.

I am not sure about the rave reviews below unless the people are related to the owner. One of the worst meals I had in a while. Tapas that we ordered were dry and overcooked to death, including chorizo and artichokes. Paella negra with calamari literally had 6 calamari rings on top of it. We were charged for more expensive wine and lattes were undrinkable. This place needs to shape up.

I went with a group to Casa Pomona for the first time last night and thought it was awesome. The place looks beautiful with a vibrant color scheme and a modern look. We ordered a bunch of tapas, sangria, and wine. The food is very skillfully prepared and the presentations are great. The Paella is a must order as well as the Iberico Jamon. Both were a crowd pleaser by everybody in the group. There were so many options on the menu I will definitely be back for more.

I stopped in here with two friends last Friday night. My first thought was that the sangria (as someone who doesn't typically enjoy sangria) was fantastic. However, I'm here to write about the food! We started with the beet salad (5/5 easily), had a selection of the meat/fish tapas (the suckling pig was the best), and finished with the paella valenciana. It was cooked correctly (crispy on the bottom) and had a ton of flavor from the broth. The chorizo on top was a great level of flavor/spice. Will be back soon!

i came here here with a girl friend yesterday. sat on one of the high top front tables and enjoyed their tapas tuesday which bought me a spanish beer and 1 tapas for $10, a great deal. We had mussels and fava bean croquettes, really delicious. We were supposed to meet more friends for dinner elsewhere but were really impressed with service and food and decided to bring everybody over. awesome night. the waitress brought us some complimentary skewers as appreciation, followed by one of the better octopus i have had in NYC. we had so much stuff but meatballs, calcots, paella, hanger steak, the boozy sangria and those churros were amazing. ambience was lively and the service was warm and attentive. the manager came by, we really felt well taken care of. i am looking forward to come back very soon!

Had dinner at this brand new Columbus ave Spanish Tapas spot, which isn't really one of my favorite cuisines, but I have to say I was really impressed with the unique and delicious dishes I had. My girlfriend had convinced me to go because she had read some articles about the place a month back and wanted to try it, and usually when that happens I'm stuck eating a vegetable I don't like and some bread off the table, but I have to say casa pomona has got some really great stuff!! They have easily one of the best meatballs I've ever had, they were savory and fluffy and with oxtail in the middle, really really good. I had leeks in a romesco sauce that were amazing. a potato dish with this garlicky white sauce that was fantastic, better than french fries. She had an octopus dish that I wouldn't try but she said was fantastic.. we had a small paella to top it off with a whole mess of seafood and chorizo & chicken, was really a very satisfying meal. Service was great as well, staff attentive and friendly even though we asked them like 40 questions about the menu and everything. Overall we loved it and will be back soon, it's nice to have a new, "unique" restaurant up here on columbus avenue. Also I'll give them credit for the specialty cocktails, I didn't even know that I liked Gin!
