My friend and I passed by this store front diner and just had to try it.The Cuban music was playing in the back ground.I ordered the ropa vieja and my freind had the roast pork ribs, both were outstanding. The service was fun.The waitress spoke to us in broken english and we had a very good time.We had a full meal for less then $20. bucks.

Stopped in for a cheap dinner. Ignored by the waitress and had to ask 4 times for water. Had to ask twice for the check. Beef was bland, just a plateful of stringy over-cooked meat with no taste. Plate of yellow rice and black beans likewise tasteless. The Sprite was great.

I've never eaten here, but I stop in for cuban style coffee and it's great, and cheap. Nice people too...

Went here with friends for lunch last week. We didn't expect a super fast dining experience (though this is a diner), but was disappointed our food took 20 minutes to get during a less than crowded lunch hour. The food was not worth the wait. While the black beans and yellow rice were tasty, the roast pork was tough, flecked with small pieces of burned garlic, and not at all what roast pork should smell, look, or taste like! The waitress was nice but could not remember other items in our order, and forgot the lunch entree of a woman sitting at the table next to us. The interior is cute, but I would never in good conscience recommend this place to anyone.

This is a really cute, dive-type diner, and... it's BYOB! The Cuban sandwiches are delic and the fried sweet plantains are a must! Not the coziest atmosphere, but still a great low-key meal.

I have only had their coffee and their cuban sandwich...both of which are great! This place has been in Chelsea for years and is loved by many.
