I first ate at this restaurant on my first trip to NYC in 1999 and throughly enjoyed it - a restaurant that fed into all my sterotypical romanticised ideas of Little Italy - on this memory I returned recently. Nowadays one would find more atmosphere in a paper bag and the waiter was nothing less that sleazy, his leering looks and inappropriate comments bordered on sexual harassment. The food was less than mediocre, clearly reheated and swimming in grease, the bread stale, the wine overpriced and watered down. The greatest insult came when we received the bill - our waiter had added a 25% tip to the total - needless to I won't be back

I ordered from Casa Bella for my office lunch (about 20 people) and it was a hit! The portions are large and very filling. I had the eggplant parm and that was great. I would definitly order again.
